The DLC are cool additions but don't really add a ton. If you like the main game you will probably enjoy the DLC, but they won't subvert your expectations or anything. The first one is the most interesting as it lets you play out a tournament from different Master/Servant perspectives.

Note that while the DLC does add Gil, his inclusion is a bit of a side thing and his kit is fairly simple because of it. He's fun to mess around with but really is just sword spam and nothing else.

I LOVE the game as a whole, I genuinely got everything I could have wanted out of it, personally. I think if you have a history with action games and have high standards for that you might not love the moment to moment gameplay, but IMO it's fun at a basic level and is well designed around Fate's concepts (Master/Servant pairing, the power difference between those two etc.) and as a story I think it told a new and interesting grail war story with a new cast that are strong on their own but also have a supporting cast of cool known stuff that feels good to go "I RECOGNISE THAT" if you know Fate lore.

Maybe if I were to behave like a Lipfag stanning my favorite servant they would get a summer version, too

How different is the gameplay compared to KT’s other musous? My main musou experience is Hyrule Warriors DE (not Calamity) and I know that SR works differently with you mainly controlling Iori in the musou gameplay with brief changes to the servants at times? The core combat is very much like their other musou, but the format of the game differentiates it. It is much more dialogue heavy than most of their games, and as a result is made up of a lot more individual fights than large scale "go to A to B to C to A" kind of things you see in most musou (there is SOME of that, but not a lot and fights are usually designated to specific zones).

The other thing that makes it feel different is the Master/Servant system. You play as the Master, primarily Iori, and your servant will attack with you, and you can either command them to do specific attacks/combination attacks with you or, if you fill a meter, you get to control them (this is how you use their NPs as well). For most of the game this means Iori + Takeru but you can also get ally helper servants that you can have in secondary that you can take control of too, like Cu. The primary thing is that servants can damage magical creatures a lot more easily than Iori can early on, so you want to take advantage of them a fair bit.

It was neat seeing how the Valkyries' tastes evolved from interludes. They threw Ortlinde some bones where before she was cute but not as overt as the others. Second pass was really unfocused but they put some effort into the fight cutscenes. The scene with Medb reinjected some life back into Ushi. Summer Ibaraki is always fun.

There was a strong push for Summer Michi. I like the effort that they put into the dog costumes and maybe they'll show up in Summer Omichi's animations. It had the obscure Japanese name history problem mentioned before. I liked Bunyan being a gaijin fish out of water, while still keeping the old guard Japs focused, and Oei and Abby kept things upbeat.

Clothier's first attempt was pointlessly repetitive and it read like ballistic gel. Mordred is so much better without Jekyll. Moriarty going full chuuni in the second pass was great and it single-handedly saved the group.
Liang was really fun the first round and it was still okay in the next but of course Homete's self-insertion is really awkward but the stars of destiny are a good group.
