Your biggest hurdle might be having to comfortably figure out the seventy levels worth of abilities you'll be given with when you unlock it, and it doesn't help that a lot of the icons look very similar to one another in addition to having pretty archaic names.
The job is fun though, but it can be argued that a well-played Scholar will carry you further.

So we have Calyx, the Key, the Crown, someone told him about the Azem Crystal and the shards and we know the patch on Tuesday is finishing the "golden city expansion narrative".
How do they do it and pull it off? what do you expect? what do you hope for? what are your worries?
Personally i would like Calyx to become an ongoing background villain in the vein of Mister Sinister in the X Men. Hes not a guy we fight in a trial but will keep running into stuff in the future like a town infected with a strange virus and he shows up to go "this was a experiment that yeilded valuable data, im done with them good luck trying to save them, peace" and we are on the backfoot trying to catch him and running into his horrible experiments in transhumanism alongside whatever the next more mundane villains are e.g the three tribes in meracydia that worship the warring triad for example.
What i expect is Calyx is the 9th shard of Azem, is buttstrated if he ever truly dies we absorb him as so much energy drink and he gets forgotten and the whole Dawntrail scenario has been his long looong plan to lure in the Source Azem to study, outclass and then steal their strength he feels he is owed. So i expect a WoL robot made based on the data from 7.2's events but midway trough the trial between mecha azem and WoL someone activates the key and the conflict is causing such aetheric disturbance it lures in Necron as an entity living in the rift between worlds that was previously held back by Hydaelyns stasis. Maybe the people getting dusted are an early warning sign and death/necromancy is going to be a real threat and not just a vague on the fringes thing next?
My worry is its going to be another Stormblood where it just wraps things up too quick and feels like another .1/.2 patch and nothing major happens and DT as a whole is remembered as a nice looking landmass that really felt like filler as they cleaned up systems and updates behind the scenes for two years. Maybe Sphene joins us.

Sage is a job released in Endwalker, meaning you'll have to own that expansion to gain access to it alongside Reaper. The benefit is that most expansion jobs with the exception of Heavensward will start twenty levels below that expansion's level cap, meaning when/if you unlock Sage, it will start at level 70 right out of the gate. That's odd that you "only" have Stormblood unless you're currently on the free trial, but purchasing the latest expansion should get you all the previous ones as well.

This man is diagnosed with ASPD - Antisocial Personality Disorder. More commonly known as sociopathy. It means he doesn't feel empathy, he doesn't know right from wrong, and he never feels sorry for the things he does wrong. This caused countless issues in my relationship with him which lasted from 2022 until late 2024, at which point I dumped him when he started yelling "KILL YOURSELF" at me over and over, over some nonsense meaningless fucking argument. I then asked him if he truly meant it when he yelled that at me and he said that yes, he wholeheartedly did. Prior to this I had taken tons of verbal abuse and threats from him over the course of the relationship, but that was the last straw at which point the feelings I had for him were overcome by the little self-respect I had left for myself.
For the longest time I thought that despite his mental illness, even he deserved love. That even he could grow to care and feel something for someone else. I was wrong.
Don't get involved with this person. He's obese and a coward so he's not going to actually do anything violent to you (despite his tough-guy talk about how he's a "badass drug dealer who plays russian roulette with his friends"). But he is extremely mentally abusive as well as verbally abusive, and just a trash piece of shit person with trash piece of shit values.
