I won't hesitate to say that Vendetta is probably my favourite character ever, and not just in VNs. I love her that much and will immediately reread her route once I'm done with Trinity, rethinking everything she's been saying.

Like I mentioned in my other post, I think by the time you reach the end of the game the thing you'll care the most about is the cast of characters and seeings things work out for them, and the game delivers on that front. But on the level of the overarching plot, while it gets resolved, it does so in a certain kind of way based on how it handles the "mystery" aspect of the story. I think some people get hung up on that and try to pidgeonhole the game into the mystery genre and expect it to follow certain rules and conventions of that, when it's really more of a thriller story and you're just along for the ride. But again being more specific would require spoiling things. If it looks interesting to you then read it, because regardless of how you feel about the ending the rest of the game is legitimately great. It has one of my favorite MCs as well.
