The upcoming matchmaking changes are a good thing. This isn't discourage friends playing together, because you get that in Quickplay still. No, the limits to 5 and 3 max parties in competitive is to ensure stacked players don't get inflated rank placement. Because lets be fucking real here people; we all know there's a lot of friend groups/parties with one or two shitters on their team getting carried. Solo queue players are actually eating good with this news.

Tank bros, how can we educate shitty Duelists and bad healers that the Kill-Death count isn't the end all be all gauge when evaluating tanks, and how can we fucking teach them to actually support us on the front lines? I won't argue about having 2 tanks, because frankly that's a losing battle trying to convince a good chunk of players to flex. But the fact remains that DPS, for whatever reason, will often chase isolated players or repeatedly ONLY focus on enemy healers. Tank take ground, we apply pressure to the frontline, and we weaken the enemy so Duelists can seal the deal with less effort. How do so many players still not get this? Technically healers should be pocketing tanks when everyone is topped off too, but they're too busy dealing with divers when Duelists constantly ignore in favor of either sniping or dive themselves.

getting out of bronze is especially bad this season. i have no idea what's happening but i've seen at least six guys with the grandmaster pin on their player cards. my teams have also been noticeably awful. i matched with the same bucky player twice that had went like 5 and 16. the enemy teams are always these well oiled machines that play like they clearly belong in diamond or above. it's usually a slugfest to get out of bronze but it's never this bad. i've gotten to to gold every season, but i never go beyond that so i have to climb out of bronze 3 every season.

Celestial is a coinflip between top 500 lobbies and getting put with gm shitters and getting hit with a -26 unless you carry the fuck out of the lobby.
I make a single fucking mistake and i know for certain the game is over.

Plus they want to help people, so there's no issue there either. Matchmaking consists of various sizes of stacks 2+3+1, 2+2+1+1, 5+1, 4+1+1, etc.

Stacks are also a problem because very rarely are everyone in the stack equally skilled. If you have a stack of 4, chances are only 1 player there is good, but the matchmaker averages them all out so a better player is pulled lower while worse players are pulled higher.
This means any match with stacks in them will mean it's not 6v6 of equally skilled players with the same MMR.

Are you a fucking retard. She has the highest dmg/s in the game. A bodyshot is 86 dmg and she can fire 2 shots per second. So even if you only bodyshot that's 172 dmg/s.
The only ranged heroes with comparable damage are shorter range and have projectiles, not hitscan. The only one that can deal better damage is Hawkeye and not dmg/s, but as a single burst with a headshot.

But I'd say Strategists died too often so maybe they didn't use cover enough, also Duelists did close to the same amount of damage as the other team's Duelists but didn't have enough KOs or final hits so maybe they were damaging Vanguards too much or hitting Duelists but not finishing them off allowing the opposite team to gain Strategist's ults easier.

Holy fuck this is literally what I've been saying for so long, im glad someone here isn't retarded. I've lost so many matches because as soon as I walk forward my backline is dead from hawkguy/hela poking them because they cant position.

The hulk and emma have LESS deaths with supports walking back from respawn nonstop so that little effort put into positioning could have made a huge difference in the balance.

Look at it this way, removing all or a good part of the enemy team with little counterplay during the kidnap is an extremely unfair ability so the tradeoff is Jeff swallows everyone.

Actually I had a Flank Adam trying to test me in diamond lobbies and he threw my matches because he refused to play with the 2-2-2 team. I simply avoided him and got him in the next match. Spent all game hunting him down enough to the point where he went dps loki and proceeded to lose.
