The welcome and generosity for new players is deceiving. Don't play this. It's pretty much whale milking now. Most new content is end game whale content you can't hope to ever participate in unless you whale yourself. Day 1 players that don't whale still can't keep up. Even with that recent what appears to be generosity, the game's underlying flaws are still there. Otherwise without the challenge content your actual content is skip tickets, daily and weekly chores, a new usually milquetoast ho hum story every 2 weeks and in your case probably a new to you story in between. Every day is pretty much log in, chores, skip tickets and the monthly end game content is unfun repetitive long slogs.

If all of these types have done it so far, Normal can probably pull it off. Just a matter of persistence and investment. I have 3/5 Gladion-Z and he feels as strong as a lot of the attackers that are getting through, so just a matter of the positioning. A gigawhale with 5/5 Gladion-Z, 10/10 Larry (Normal Zone and Rebuffs), and 1 of Elaine/Anabel/Red/P Victor should theoretically be able to do it.
