I've been completely checked out of this expansion since the siren isle patch. Had no interest at all in goblin filler 11.1 and still no interest in 11.2 retcon capital of k'aresh with a boring void walker enemy.

With old content you need to manually disable exp. Right now it is at 67 when you become significantly overpowered, so you need to lock at 60 ideally. This will give you proper experience during questing.
I actually have one lorewalking and chilling character like that.
But yeah, the need to make the entire expansion to be tw-active during the event, not just a set of hand picked dungeons. It is legit crazy how much dead content there is to revisit and that players are typically locked to: one island, 8 raid bosses, 8 mazes.

The remainder of the this week to grind rep and then next week before it finishes.
My advice would be to examine the rewards in the reknown tracks that really interest you and focus on them first.
Even with just "two weeks" (100% bonus for TWW and 200% for DF) can put a real dent in the grind.
Wrathion and Sabellian have AH purchable rep tokens you can hand in if you're feeling flush and want to buy your way to 100% on a couple of rep. But their world quests give so much rep its crazy, do them first.

But English warbow shooting isn't the only arrow shooting on the planet and Gryphonriders, if not using more stormhammers, would use a horse-archery style shooting which is incredibly effective.
Additionally, what's higher drawstrength for humans would be regular for Dwarves. A Dwarfish "hunting bow" would rival an English warbow in drawstrength and that means a bunch of Dwarf skirmishers with bows just pelting you with arrows meant to distract would fucking obliterate your peasant militia and you wouldn't even have explosions or smoke clouds betraying their positions.

Except balance in raid doesn't really matter, unless you're in a top guild. By the time the vast majority of the playerbase gets into Mythic raiding:
- Bosses have been nerfed multiple times.
- Everyone is +20 item level compared to Liquid and Echo.
- Everyone does +10% damage and healing thanks to the catch-up system of that patch.

If halfway through a season a guild can't kill a boss, it's because they're fucking up the mechanics of the encounter. Not because the healers can't keep up or the damage dealers can't beat the DPS check.
