In a fit of autism I decided to try and identify the passenger carriages that appear in the 3.1 teaser. I couldn't find an exact model but I will say that they look very German, which would match up with the red wheels you can sort of make out on the tender. As for the period, it could be anywhere from the 1930s onward, but I'd lean towards the latter half of the century.

This could also all be meaningless and the artist just drew a generic train (the cars do look similar to ones I saw in pictures of Chinese railways), but I thought I'd report my findings here. Maybe someone could find an actual train autist to investigate further.

The game made it very clear that while she doesn't like killing people she's grown very numb to it after years of being forced to do it, even her trailer showed this.
The reason she had such a reaction to being forced to kill Vertin was she was just before this almost truly free and was spending time with someone who wasn't afraid of her or treated her like a tool and her she was, getting forced to become a tool again to kill the person that had just shown her a lot of kindness.
If she had actually killed Vertin she probably would have broken for good.

I'm not sure what the point here is, she was heartbroken when being commanded to kill Vertin because Vertin's her friend. The only other people she's been commanded to kill that we see are either strangers or people that already tried to hurt her.

Almost sinking a ship filled with people and causing countless deaths is a good enough stand in. I can still remember the mother trying to comfort her child by almost making him wear a manus mask. Anjo only really killed people at someone's command. The "just following orders" and "I didn't force them to kill themselves" is going to do a lot of heavy lifting here.
