You can generalize it as novel experience (even better if it's replayable + novel, which is what roguelikes try to do), with game mechanics that challenge the player - puzzles, skill tests, optimization problems, reaction testing, etc.

Halo for example managed to introduce a lot of replayability through a few systems:
1. Enemy squad compositions are semi-randomized, you never know ahead of time what exact composition you're going to deal with each level
2. Each enemy type has completely different behaviours and mechanics to deal with them - jackals require precision, elites require anti-shield weapons, grunts require AoE or high volume
3. Your inventory is limited to 2 weapons, so you need to adapt on the fly during the level for the context of enemies you're facing
4. No matter what weapons you have, you can still make them work even against enemies they're not effective against

This keeps novel experiences for the player as the exact combination of enemies, weapons, environments and overall playthrough spans off into infinity.

In Warframe you can see some presumably accidental and limited application of this in the mining, fishing, and instrument minigames, and various puzzles like those in duviri or deimos - all of which are essentially skill tests. They mostly aren't very challenging skill tests, but they are nevertheless testing the player. Creating loadouts and playing with mods on frames and weapons is an optimization problem and another form of skill test.

The reason this is 'fun' is because evolution favors playtime for practicing things that may be useful for survival in a more lethal setting. Hand-eye coordination, problem solving, optimization, etc. are generalizable beyond what you do in a videogame, the same neural paths are going to work even when you're doing it IRL, so it's good to have some practice. The reward mechanism for having fun playing games is because that's been better for survival and reproduction than not.

Ordis literally says he predates all the other equipment in your arsenal. He never says there's no records of it being used, he said he's not familiar with the design. That's both because of Umbra being so old and also because Ballas destroyed all of the Umbras (and the initial Warframes for that matter)

The Soma (Prime) was one of the best OG rifles back in the day. So when the Incarnon released, people were like, oh, that's it. OK. Meh.
It's decent but it's not amazing compared to many other stupidly powerful incarnon updates.

You have to keep in mind that warframe is about grinding because there's not much else to it besides that. It's the whole game and why people burn out and quit. It's all about effortlessly killing things to get unlocks like cosmetics or more powerful mods or frames to kill things more efficiently.

Even in its niche use case if I wanted to go to mantle for some stupid reason volt is too quick that 50m scan range is nothing, it is too slow to scan and I'm already past it. Titania can't have a companion out so it doesn't even work. No rare fish spawn in missions, it doesn't really open up opportunities you didn't already have. This thing is a glorified free 100 standing fishing dye dispenser for open word garbage content (that you don't need to fish for anything other than really early game) and MR fodder at best. At least with a mission end mod for some random plants I could get something running for relics or corrupted vaults/etc and maybe pop a apothic once in a while. I'm really annoyed that Trading Post fast travel option in Dojo teleports you to the closest console and not the front one (like with Vault) because I did it before fast travel was added and now often fast travel to them just clips you out of the map or into walls.
Thought to eventually submit my Dojo to the contest, but several rooms (mainly Crimson Branch, Ventkid bashlab and Observatory) have retarded red zones that don't let me do complete conversion like I did with other rooms, so it's incomplete still and likely will be for a long time.

Please shit on this build and tell me how to improve it, I don't really know all that much about modding and never bothered to research because whatever I make is sufficient for basically all content anyway even if most likely sub-optimal.
But I want to make Corinth feel as meaty as possible because I really like it.

For context, I have Tenacious Bond active for +1.2 crit multiplier and usually using a high Str Volt with Roar for Shield doubling my crit multiplier and Roar doubling my damage so with those together I can one shot most enemies. Also purple Tauforged for +90% electricity damage which screws me a bit since I can't use Primary Frostbite but it gives me Magnetic here on this build.
But my point is that I feel like these boosts are crutches for suboptimal modding and I want to make a weapon that's good on its own in the first place, are there any ways I can improve this significantly, including rerolling the Riven into something else?

Personally my biggest gripe with it is the lack of sentients in the fucking sentient war.
I actually liked the long Drifter segment. because it was kinda neat having a quest focusing on how powerless you are now even if it drags on a bit.

But the quest starts, it's great, you fight a lot of Sentients and then they're just gone, nearly everything from then on is just reskinned Grineer and Corpus, despite Sentients being underutilized as is.
And this goes to narrative as well, where suddenly Ballas is in full control despite being at Erra's and Natah's mercy before.
It'd be more interesting if Narmer served as cannon fodder supporting some sort of stronger Sentient in most encounters.

I sell everything ducats that either came out in the last 5-6 updates or is in the never vaulted category (except valkyr and nyx)
