Mika's momos are all her punishment after being a spoilt princess where she has to do humble hard work, loses all of her posessions and the one thing she DOES get is a swimsuit from Sensei. Her pennance for VF is essentially humility, poverty and hard work.
Her (new) swimsuit is white, the colour of purity and very plain. Her hair is simple and let down. She's completely unadorned with accessories like Seia or Jewelery like Nagisa and the PV makes a point of showing her decorated nails being chipped, filthy and worn by her dredging up filthy somethingorothers in the sea.
It's pretty basic Christlike imagery of the white clad holy man lowering himself to the humblest of positions. Only way they could have made it more obvious is having her bathing peoples fucking feet, but Sensei has a monopoly on that I think.

I give it high marks for the same reason I gave sKot's swimsuit high marks. Even if the extra swimsuit straps almost lean into overdesigned bullshit (whereas Mika's leans into underdesigned), they're clearly evoking the double nekomata tail's and the cats cradle strings she has in her base, so it gets points.

The Arius district is protected by a magical labyrinth with constantly shifting entrances, of which there are about 300 possibilities.
