Man Vera's chapter is full of trannylations, so many parts where its obvious that you/him/her got replaced with they/them and even "the you", for some reason they also replaced "spear" with "gun", its not all the time and just in some specific parts, so its obvious that its one specific tranny on the translator team.

That could be just a coding error, there is a lot of those especially on the early chapters, wouldn't be surprising if they started happening again because of the rush. The volume of content because of the acceleration is a better argument if you are just guessing without any source.

This sounds more credible, Shaper's Riples is a mess, a lot of the early nodes have really dumb typos and then its completely fine around halfway onwards. I use MTL a lot so I can recognize the mistakes that it usually does, the mistakes are too inconsistent and "human" to feel like AI errors. For example the gun mistranslation, in the chapter they are switching between calling it a spear, lance and gun all the time, MTL would pick one and consistently use it.

Finished Vera's story and finally caught up.
Why the fuck was some faggot whining about a retcon? He was being so dramatic about it that I thought "they met Gary in the past" reveals would introduce massive plotholes, but there was literally none. Literally everything got explained and any potential plotholes got covered properly, the only issue with Vera's chapter is that there was no real foreshadowing for this reveal aside from Vera being interested in the gray raven commandant to a weird extent, which does make it a bit unsatisfying for a plot twist, but the interactions that the story introduces easily make up for it.
I liked it, not an amazing chapter storywise imo but the characters and their interactions was really fun. I think the most important thing about the chapter is that they were foreshadowing a lot of stuff that can be used in the future.
And Veralov of course.

I never noticed because of the short time limit in simulated siege, but after finally deciding to finish golden vortex and mess around with gen 1 frames, man, they feels like ass to play.
I don't mean in terms of gameplay mechanics, but aesthethically, their sound design, impact, choreography, animation and entry/victory pose are absolute shit compared to gen 2 frames, let alone gen 3.

I think it helps that the story doesn't act like it's some major revelation by introducing it way early, giving itself time to cover any potential plot holes while neatly filling in the gaps of Vera's past and her interest in Gary. I also like that it made a proper story out of it instead of feeling like a one-off, all while yielding some great interactions between the characters. Its appearance actually reminds me of Nero's Red Queen and how it's able to rev up like an engine based on a trigger mechanism. It even looks like a dual lance version of the Red Queen, and the split second burst of red flames when doing charged attacks seem intentionally reminiscent of Exceed. I wonder if that's where the translators are having to guess what the fuck the weapon is supposed to be. Considering you cannot get them to SS via PPC skulls, basically 1 Dante pull you can see it as getting you to SS and the event one gets you SS3. Do another pull and you get to SSS. 1 Vergil pull means SS. You need to get him 3 more times after for SSS, meaning 2 more pulls after, so he's 10.5k more expensive than Dante to get to SSS.
