You mean placing rocks to block the slam? That is intended. You can plan ahead. The center rock perfectly blocking the entire slam might not be, If it wasn't a thing you'd place 2 rocks in a line so that you guarantee cover for 2 slams.

Skill issue. I have to deal with orb pretty much every other d6-8+ and its doable enough, really only becomes a problem if you are one of the people going for very deep runs. And you know Jagex listened to the feedback on this and they are making the orb clear venom. I dont want further changes to orb beyond the venom clearing part.

The single biggest issue with the boss is triple melee grub spawns and that is getting changed. Sure, it was released a bit broken and you are the QA, shouldn't be a surprise in this world.

The orb being so ass that people skip it is bad game design, you should be forced to deal with it, but it shouldn't be cancer, theres no reason for it to go diagonal first insteadof straigh first like the player does, don'teven try to argue against that. Why are the volatile earths not in a consistent grid in a couple patterns. This would be like defending the skulls at wardens p3 being shot out anywhere on the arena and you running like an autist to maybe hit them all. Same with the shockwaves after the car dash, you shouldn't be at the mercy of rng boulders to not get destroyed because one didn't block the other.

It uses npc pathing like pretty much everything in the game. Basically you are saying you should be guaranteed to have a straight line with the orb? You probably do after the acid clearing change since you can pick basically any trees to pop.

You don't have to hit all the trees, just pick 2.

So this is why its so good to place one near the wall. You have plenty of time to plan where you drive the boss next. Also technically theres no limit to how many rocks you can place (unless acid blocks them) so you could guarantee having enough rocks. Idk maybe this will get streamlined, we will see.
