Was Frank Stone ever meant to be a Killer for DbD? The way it ends and the way NG+ shows Frank as a doll like the game's killers and giving his the title of "The Champion" seems like it.

This game is a perfect balance between fun and competitiveness. How mad you get is depending on how many hours you have, understanding of each situation and how serious you take it. You can literally never get upset if you play for some flashlight save or a certain build.

When does MMR update? I have comfortably 4k'd every game for 2 days now. About 15hr gameplay. Getting really bored.

it's continuous, updated every match
but it can be pretty slow for new players. the volatility is probably low for new players since the game is comically killer sided in new-player lobbies. surviving is much harder to intuit as opposed to killing.
so if it reacted too quick to your 4ks you'd have new killers start going against experienced survivors (read: not good, but aren't new) way too soon. at least too soon for the average player who needs to be spoonfed wins to stay engaged
theoretically you should just spam billy and try and speedrun 4ks until it gets harder but that's assuming that the game cares about how fast and decisively you win

and sometimes it just shits the bed completely. i tuned into a zubat stream the other day, doing some streak on killer. and his blight game he was up against a bunch of 100 hour babs that got rolled over despite the fact that that should be impossible. going against someone with like 2 orders of magnitude more hours than them. that's the BHVR seal of quality
who really knows. we only have what can/was datamined, what was leaked through GDPR requests before it was protected as a "trade secret", and what they've stated

at 1800 hours i get a pretty inconsistently-consistent level of survivors, very reminiscent of what old rank 1 was like pre-MMR. mostly average/subpar players with a few outliers on both ends, but with more babs than Gamers

I haven't and won't play Frank Stone, but I once heard he got schizo'd by the entity, so here's my perks for him.
>Callout
You look to the entity for its benevolent acts.
When you knock down a survivor, you begin to fill up this perk, after 30/25/25 seconds, you gain a token, up to 1/1/2.
When standing over a knocked down survivor, you can look to the sky and call out to the entity, pressing the interaction button will have the entity drag the survivor into the ground, transporting them to one of the three furthest hooks, scourge hooks are prioritised.
You do not see the auras of survivors hooked in this manner.

>Scourge Hook: Creation of Misery
Your own creation and the entity's design work together.
At the start of a trial, 4 random hooks are converted into Scourge Hooks.
When you hook a survivor on a scourge hook, the entity will create one illusory Dull Totem, Hex Totem, Chest or Killer item. Survivors interacting with any of these will scream to reveal their location for 3 seconds and have their aura revealed to you for 8 seconds.

I'm not sure what you mean by this, she still currently has both in her kit. She never had haste on drone deploy in her lifetime as far as I'm aware. As for Insidious, I see no point in using it as you get on demand stealth which gives you plenty of time to manuever around for mind games.

It's extremely obvious that for some reason, probably tested on an isolated server, kill switching streetwise causes even worse bugs. There is zero reason why they wouldn't just killswitch it otherwise. There's not some council of people who really care about the game at Behavior who they have to pass it by, the devs are fuckwits when it comes to balance and understanding the game and just respond to public outcry with a dash of their own basic understanding of the game when it comes to kill switching, which is (supposed to be) very quick and easy to do. What they're probably scrambling to do now is either:
A) Scramling to figure out why kill switching streetwise causes anything else to happen at all except disabling streetwise and testing every single perk with a kill switch to see if this a freak occurrence or will become a huge compounding problem going forward.
B) Scrambling to fix streetwise itself without the need to kill switch it, and praying there will be no problems with kill switching anything else going forward, because they're so lazy and incompetent.

I played Billy before he was dogshit, when he was dogshit, and now that he's good again. I get not liking Wesker, but he's one of the more fair killers in the game that is reasonably strong.
