I just learned that my ex that currently goes by the name of aurae, used to go by isabell, is playing league again and taking part in these threads.

I just wanted to make this post so that in case anyone gets involved with him and they happen to look up his name in the archive, they'll find this post.

This man is diagnosed with ASPD - Antisocial Personality Disorder. More commonly known as sociopathy. It means he doesn't feel empathy, he doesn't know right from wrong, and he never feels sorry for the things he does wrong. This caused countless issues in my relationship with him which lasted from 2022 until late 2024, at which point I dumped him when he started yelling "KILL YOURSELF" at me over and over, over some nonsense meaningless fucking argument. I then asked him if he truly meant it when he yelled that at me and he said that yes, he wholeheartedly did. Prior to this I had taken tons of verbal abuse and threats from him over the course of the relationship, but that was the last straw at which point the feelings I had for him were overcome by the little self-respect I had left for myself.

For the longest time I thought that despite his mental illness, even he deserved love. That even he could grow to care and feel something for someone else. I was wrong.

Don't get involved with this person. He's obese and a coward so he's not going to actually do anything violent to you (despite his tough-guy talk about how he's a "badass drug dealer who plays russian roulette with his friends"). But he is extremely mentally abusive as well as verbally abusive, and just a trash piece of shit person with trash piece of shit values.

His background is that he's originally from tumblr, which is why he holds a lot of old-school tumblrite views, nowadays he gets his opinions and world-news from left-twitter and the streamer Hasan Piker.

Before me he was larping as a girl on here, on EU. Immediately after me he was chasing puppygirl teen transgirls on twitter. He's 31.

Is unsealed spellbook worth it on tanky supports or is it a meme? On one hand I can see a few good use cases. Roaming with teleport, securing objectives with smite, and engaging with ghost. But on the other hand you sacrifice a good amount of durability by picking inspiration over resolve.

The issue here is that Dark Harvest doesn't sound like a great rune on Hwei, but I may be wrong though I never saw any Hwei take it either. In your matchup specifically, it doesn't reliably work because you are against a tank. Here is an advice, however: instead of building the full Blackfire, you could build Lost Chapter and then move into Liandry first item if they are stacking HP already.

I'm surprised you'd say this because I actually think the opposite. I think snowballing is pretty strong, especially early on and ESPECIALLY in terms of pre-1:30 deaths and given how prevalent invading feels like it's gotten (at least in my games) that really should be addressed.

I'm tired of the WoW train and after getting banned for having a 2 (two) degrees of separation between a partial link to my character's roleplaying profile and another link to a slightly NSFW pic some fucking shithead white knight got my account suspended for 6 months. So I downloaded league, my profile is level 25. I mostly play ARAM and did like 12 Swiftplay matches but I am 100% positive I was playing against bots. I've tried most of the archetypes but there's 200 characters and I'd hate to just fucking subject myself to something only to learn that X fits me better than Y. I've played DOTA2 for a bit but I cant get into the art style, ugly as fuck.

When it comes to MOBAs I find dying unacceptable more than 3 or 4 times and I dont think kills win games, I think smart and decisive choices matter more than APM. I like consistency and a calculated risk isn't calculated at all if there's a risk.

What are some champions that are steady. Reliable. Chunky. And can multi role? I hear people have a main and off main so 2 champ recommendations that play similar would be great.

Dont care if ranged or melee but if there's champs that can do both that's cool too. Please dont say "just play whatever, nigger" there's TWO HUNDRED FUCKERS I need some guidance.

Based mindset, you can become a KDA player, but you won't be liked when people begin to criticise you.
That's a Jungle / ADC / Support mindset if you want to try those roles.
For Jungle: Ekko (He can be played Mid too) and Evelynn are very safe to play because one has a reset button, and the other one regens health while stealth - like Recup Rogues.
For Support: Any Enchanter, but they can't be played in other lanes besides maybe Karma and Lulu.
For ADC: Ezreal - but Supports generally hate playing with him because his players play too safe when he wants to be playing aggressively.

Riot thought that by adding a bunch of words and conditionals to a kit, it would make the champion more unique to play. winrate is not a indicator of subjective satisfaction. ANY champion can get pushed or lowered to X winrate when you pump enough numbers into the kit. doesnt mean its fun nor healthy nor interesting. Illaoi/Zed/Yorick/Rengar/Fizz can be at 45% winrrate and players would still uh oh stinky shart themselves in pure rage when they appear in the loading screen. the crux of Skurnurs problema was that he was a boring piece of dogshit to play and noone wanted to bother with him.

skarner's best skill was not his R, it was his E. R was his most ICONIC, sure, but if that was the only thing he did he would not have functioned. Did you get fed during laning phase? Go Triforce/BC and hard carry with 100+ AH lategame. Team needs a tank? Sunfire and aura items. Janky early power spike? AP build and use the cone freeze thingy.
New Skarner just runs in and stands in the middle of a teamfight sharting out %hp damage like he's Ornn. That's the only thing he does in teamfights. He can't frontline and he's too clunky to pivot, so he's stuck being pure engage in the most bland way.

I will admit I am biased due to playing old skarner for years and years but if I want to wrap back around to what I said at first, it's that the "myth of complexity" does not make a champion have more unique playstyles
Often having open-ended gameplay allows for more decision making and while you don't get the pure dopamine hits of "landing your perfect combo", you come away feeling better about fundamentals and making lots of consecutive good plays. Old Skarner felt like you had 360 degrees of movement available at any time and you could really play in different manners. Nu-Skarner lacks any of that and any time players have tried to do something different, Riot has nerfed it because his play patterns are fucking miserable to fight against (on release he had W spam and reverse E which both got effectively removed). It's kind of like how Tristana's rework made her "better", but ultimately once the appeal of getting your big explosions wears thin, you realize how she's pretty much purely balanced around her E. Gone were the pure fundamentals of old Tristana spacing enemies out, her new playstyle became a pseudo assassin/old-AP-Tristana hybrid but without any room for experimentation.

You describe so well my grievances with new Skarner and a lot of champs. It felt like old Skarner had certain weaknesses (being cucked by slows, lack of damage) but he always had fun and creative ways to work around them like phase rush and weird builds. my closing point is that Skarner was made at time when Riot was really just throwing shit at the wall to see what stick and his identity crisis really shows in so many ways. his kit was a mess and people didnt like him. R being the strongest ability in the game (a controller unplug) meant that he was still playable ON SOME LEVEL since thats one of the big 3 elements to determining the outcome of a skirmish in any PvE/P videogame but this is not to be confused with satisfaction.

The crazy shit is how, despite having some of the "weakest numbers in the game" on his old kit, he worked because every part of his kit synergized.
W being a weak shield but perma uptime meant that enemies could break it, but they wouldn't always be able to inflict further damage on him. Instead of stunning it applies a bleed and a 60% slow for 4 seconds and if the enemy gets autoattacked 2 times the bleeds duration refreshes once(cant refresh again) slowing and dealing damage to them again
The bleed has 130% ap scaling
If the bleeded refreshes too early you will lose some of it like if you refresh it right away it will only be 5 seconds

You should stop caring about the game if you have 2-3 losing lanes because that's pretty much game over unless you and the other winning lane can do something big together.
