She's still good it's just if you had all the big 4 supports Inanna/Cocoa/Sp Safi/Taair they offered more utility with still good enough healing that you would use 2 of the others before OG inanna in most cases. She's very good with her SP counterpart in watcher stages because they're a support heavy role and can give act again to a damage dealer.

These clears up some stuff, but still proves the Federation of Menia is separate from the Union of Knight States (aka The Union), just as the game itself says.
The game's wording of "former knights of the Union" is half right, half wrong. Based on that translation you posted, it seems it was indeed founded by knights who were part of the Knight Orders, but this happened back in year 730, which predates the Union as we know it today by over 200 years. It lists 970 as "Birth of the Knight Alliance" which I'm assuming is the Union.
Looks like the Union (well, before it was called the Union) had a hand in its formation as well. According to this, after the First Radiant War (back when the knight orders were separate), some of the knight orders fled across the sea and discovered a new continent, which they called Menia. They settled there alongside and, alongside other adventurers and explorers (no doubt drawn by the discovery of a new world), formed various settlements and cities until the Knights Council back in the old world (just using Europe/America new world/old world terminology here for simplicity) sent Menia a proposal to unify and organize themselves into a single nation. This would've had to be somewhere between 750 and 800 (the timeline for the Knights Council being formed). Then Menia signed a treaty with the land that would become the modern-day Union, which I assume was some sort of formal recognition of Menia as its own nation and I'm betting some sort of trade deals and defensive pacts were baked into it too, but that's purely my speculation.

Hell, I gotta read more before I post. That pastebin confirms my speculations about the Menia treaty making them military allies with the Knights Council, because the next bit about the Second Radiant War talks about how Menia was dragged into it and fought alongside the Knight Orders that chose to side with the Knights Council instead of siding with the Hierophant/Holy Emperor/Pope who tried to conquer everything under the Papal States' banner. Would be interesting to see if that treaty still forces Menia to get involved with the Knight Council's wars after the Union was formed a few decades ago. I'm guessing no because they had no presence in the recent war in Iria, but who knows?
One big issue I see that muddies the waters is we don't really have a name for the Union before it became the Union ie the lands that were ruled by the Knights Council after its founding back in the year 800. The book just calls them "knight nations".

The main thing that annoys me is that Knight States haven't been given individual names. There's the Three Knight Kings, Camelot being one. Are Gloria, Roland, Simona, and Auguste from the same state as him? If not, is their ultimate authority a different knight king?

Another thing that bothers me, that I may have overlooked, or forgot, is the relationship between Inanna and Ayishah. Are they step-sisters? After Sylvia died, was allowed to stay, but didn't get to be a princess because Faris wasn't her father? If not, what was her origin story? Do the three siblings even have the same mother?

In her biography it says Ayishah was trained by her, but nothing about how it came to be. It says for Inanna she was the perfect role model, but not mother. It says "sister" for them there, but I don't know if it's meant to be literal. I don't know it's the translation or if the devs never specified, but it's weird how little reference there is to their parentage.

Faris became king in 985 after doing a coup d'etat, he was a general of the State of Iria. From what I understand Auguste and Sylvia were sent to help Faris. Sylvia stayed behind and married Faris. That's only 15 years. Maybe I'm wrong, but all three seem older than that. Possibly Lutfi and Inanna, but definitely not Dantalion, as he'd only be 7 in 992 if correct..

You have a very solid team in this pic with Caris leader aura, Samantha, Lash, Ballista and Papal Guard, but you're not going to need this kind of team synergy until you're in the level 50s or so. Just play whichever ones seem fun, but when you unlock the memory shard stage only use legendary characters in it, don't put Maitha in there (she goes up to 3* for free and going another 100 shards for 4* is not worth it) and only use as many characters as to get up to 3 for each (while the memory stages give total 6 shards or less you should complete them with Inanna an Caris, and I guess when they start giving 7 or more you can add Samantha and hopefully by the time Sam reaches 3* you'll get another legendary character worth replacing her)
Also anecdotically, rates are not buffed. Had to go 180 for guaranteed pity (and only got one useless dupe from the middle 100 pity in the process)

When the game launched, the translation was in a dreadful state. It was one of the biggest complaints. Quite possibly the biggest for many.
