They said at least one of their other projects is fantasy so I assume it will be Exalted, since that's one of the few settings they didn't rule out in their interviews. On the other hand, the mega faggots chose a random ass TV show and book series for their Mass Effect copycat, so maybe they can dig deeper into the pit of garbage out there and find something else that's utter dreck to work on.

JA3 has a lot of it. I wouldn't say it's fantastic but it's at least something. Not only is it vital for positioning, but you have to be aware of noise alerting other nearby enemies. You can also get stealth kills, which is immediate death on their part without shouting or anything. It's not guaranteed but there are things you can do to increase the chance. Then there are different states like when they are suspicious, completely unaware, surprised, etc.
It mainly does boil down to just positioning and quiet kills though, at least so far. I suspect there will be more opportunity later to do things like set remote explosives.

Do you still have the Three Sorrowful Phalanges quest? That's supposed to advance during warp jumps but sometimes it needs a push from toybox. It's not necessary to complete the genestealers though, it's just a side thing

To complete the quest you need to kill the jeanies on Dargonus (go to Dargonus in colony screen after you already did the T5 dilemma), kill the cult on your ship (happens during random warp jump in act 4) and kill the ones on that crashed ship (some planet in the north of the map).

c) Failing checks can be funny and you have alternate routes
d) Agility did not seem to matter that much, but perhaps I missed possible checks.
e)Lots of things can be bypassed by talking to people or manually clicking on things ,reading books etc (aka, easier to convince cause you learned something, read a book to bypass knowledge check). So you can get mroe solution than yo think
f) Pick a background that boosts the skills you like the most (scholar for knowledge shit, military if you want to boost strength etc)

Only the truly fragile turn this into Beamdog LITERALLY killing their grandmother. If you like IE games then it's worth playing through once, they do a few neat little things with the engine and there are a few interesting encounters of a kind you don't see in BG1&2.

Morrowind is the best rpg and has the best setting. The only one that actually feels like a crpg.
Oblivion has the most fun quests, best music and is funny because of the npcs. Worst gameplay mechanics though.
Skyrim is the only one with decent combat and makes for a fun braindead dungeon crawler. Also the most customizable with mods. Worst questlines in the series though.also the perk system was a good addition

All three games have their positives and negatives, I can enjoy all of them.

Not just dragon age, my biggest criticism against larian is their writers refuse to take things seriously for a second. BG3 and DnD setting forced them to reign it in a little bit at least. Daggerfall I have good memories of but it's pure nostalgia and atmosphere. I think it is worth playing actually, but only with a certain mindset and understanding that a lot of it is completely un-fun, even anti-fun. Think massive sprawling nonsensical 3D dungeon maps and there's a bit of seaweed hanging from the ceiling somewhere that you have to hit spacebar on to open a door somewhere far away. (Not even joking, this happens once, and other times in slightly lesser forms)
It can be extremely bad and shitty. But it has an undeniable charm. The sound effects are great, the music is soulful as hell, the world is absolutely massive (but quickly begins to feel samey and empty.)
I believe it's completely free now, and there's also DFUnity which people have done some pretty impressive stuff with, so I would recommend Daggerfall to try.
There's also Battlespire. My only experience with it is being very sick for a few days and for some reason leaving on Let's Plays of it, so it feels like an incredibly strange fever dream.
The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard is kind of a point-and-click adventure, I have never played it but it also looks like it might be good for a quiet afternoon or weekend.

Not the anon, but I've seen Veilguard's intro. The whole thing didn't really grab me and just didn't look like Dragon Age, you know? Like I don't remember DA mages ever doing that flashy shit. Mind, I also didn't like how the first screenshots of DA2 proudly showed off the Darkspawn whose models were clearly lacking in textures compared to the ones from DA1, since then I've learned that it might have been done so to represent ramblings of a degenerate beardless dwarf but before that I've seen one of my siblings fight in encounters where the enemies were blatantly spawning in from thin air and cartoonishly jumping off the buildings. I think the retarded design peaked in a dragon boss fight where a female would fight the player for a bit than fly to sit on a waist-high rock (where she was obviously untouchable) and send continuous sacrficial waves of her family. First it was her children then it was her male harem. She would fight a player for a bit and then just watch from an arm's reach distance how he kills her family as if they were her summons. I've tried to play it once for a bit but I couldn't power through the intro.
The three probably looks the best of the sequels imho (discounting the high nigga archmage and that goblin elf) but past the intro I've seen the MC do some NuCry or MMO style side questing which was a turn off. What I've seen of the plot didn't grab me either. But wasn't the MC of it more of a Veilguard since he went around closing rifts?
The only kinda cool thing from Veilguard I've seen is the tentacle monster who's apparently even plays a big role and it's kinda funny how the main elf villain has a huge gigachad jaw but aside from those designs the game just didn't get my interest and the qunari sir or maam was repulsive yeah.

I had a lot of fun running through it as a stealth cowboy, but the final act just being a bunch of conversations you fast travel between killed it a bit for me.
Granted, I cucked out and gave the machine to the monks, but they went through all the trouble of giving me access to the endgame guns only for me to not even get to use them. It was very disappointing. I'll have to go back through and it again without siding with the monks to see if the final act in the other endings feel any better.

I've recently tried Din's Legacy and holy shit. I thought Soldak had interesting concepts for an evolution of a Diablo-clone RPG but I had no idea until right now that the dev(s) actually finally made a good and addictive game with them.

Also interesting how instead of humans, barbarians (which are more barbariani evolutionary strain of humanity) or lumen (lol) the only race you can play as in it is Mutated who are Elves. The game's and Zombasite's lore says the Mutated are a result of the giga nigga magic zombie virus hitting the orcs but if you pull up an older game and read orcs' description in it you would learn that Soldak orcs are a result of a no-name Necromancer using his magic on almost-dead Elves so from that point of view Mutated ARE just Elves, just more purified and suffering from wild mutations compared to their orc ancestors.

Despite Din's Curse being an extremely low-rent diablo clone, it had a very engaging premise and the gameplay felt solid. Knowing that they've improved on it with Legacy makes me very curious to try it out.

I had him go crossbow and fighter and later on found this cool crossbow that does sonic area damage only to enemies, he was pretty helpful. I liked having him around, I also gave him the summon items.

Oh yeah. I've also recently tried Din's Curse too and can say my view on Soldak's games was slightly marred by Zombasite (I've played) and Tehsnakerer's review of Depths of Peril. I've played only a little of it but Din's Curse was fun too if even for its simpler set up compared to those light strategy sims.

Din's Legacy borrows some ideas from the other two but it's mainly a sequel to DC. One just small thing that massively improves my disposition towards it is that the dev learned how to simulate an uneven ground, it seems to be just a visual thing (you can see bolts just traveling along the ground as if they have invisible legs running on it) but still is a massive improvement compared to flatness of the others. But that's not all, of course.

That's a minor element, but it does help a lot. Their games are hilariously flat, which is concerning because it looks like their latest Din's project just looks like a Terraria ripoff. Seems like they veered in a totally different direction after Legacy.
I enjoyed going lich in DC, even though it was just a passive buff to necromancy spells and didn't really change how you played.

DoS2 solo runs with all the minmax action economy Buffs + Timelapse(Fane) -> Kill 1 guy + Teleport his corpse into a group + explode corpse -> Bloodpact(Elf race) + Adrenalin + Skin change +Bloodpact again + Adrenalin again -> mass corpse explode -> Finish every fight in 1 turn
