Event currency for QP is never worth it. Not even close. It's 10k QP for 2 gold currency, and you get about 3x10 drops by default in the 90++ node, and double that in the gold specialty node. So with +12 bonus, you'd get 15x10 to 15x20 gold currency per 40 AP. That's 150-300 gold currency, which is about 75-150 packs of 10k, or 750k-1.5 mil QP for 40 AP. And lets be honest, you're not running +12 bonus. The gacha cost is too high and also you'd need a 6CE comp that can fit in 54 cost.

40 AP for a run of doors is 2-4 mil QP ish so you automatically lose in QP efficiency.

If you want to farm the event because it has a good mat farming node, go for it. But don't bother if your goal is QP.
