I rolled for it, I wanted the ears and tail especially but also the makeup for the heterochromatic eyes. The bracelets are really nice too. The outfit overall is fairly messy but I still like it and the cat ears and tails are well worth rolling for the whole thing.

I got her last night, 158 rolls! I put the ears as the ocean blessing, but I wanted the tail also and it ended up being the last thing to drop of course. Having a new purifying outfit for the first time is pretty fun. I spent 2 extra rolls for the poses but I don't think I'll roll anymore as I am left with exactly NOTHING. I had 70 rolls before the patch started.
I got the full water walking outfit in 1.5, and got 17 5* pieces and 3 full 4* outfits with other misc pieces between now and then. I never paid for rolls, just monthly gifts.
Seems you can get a full 5* outfit every other other patch, maybe sooner if you roll less on random things, but I just like having pieces of mostly everything honestly.

I've noticed that the hourglasses with the most likes are in places that are "hard" to reach, little areas that are explored through curiosity and not because of any reward. In the painting island this happens in the bamboo forest at the very start, reached if you ignore the raft and the cries for help, or if you find how to get back there. This also happens in death stranding where the largest communal pissing spot is at the top of the highest mountain where there's nothing else to do.

Also if youre a degenerate, you can use the dash anywhere you would use the ink ability outfit. I did one of the whimstar falling ink things and open umbrellas with the dash instead of using the new ability.

I also really like the killing essling ability's background for photos. I dont know exactly how long it stays, but I had a timer and it went for atleast 6 minutes whille I was taking pictures.

They can take good photos, mostly panoramic landscapes though. Chinese mountains are great for that, this widesis should take advantage of the resolution to create scenes that double as wallpapers. Another alternative is compositions that work like triptych, with action on both ends and something else in the middle, particularly good with multiple subjects such as two Nikkis. Ultrawide is workable but ultimately we are just too used to the 16:9 ratio, even a quick square 1:1 photo would seem weird.

the story for danqing island is that thousands of years ago a miraland got destroyed and nikki used magic paint to create danqing. nikki then moved on to the next miraland to continue her work to save miraland from the darkness. while she was doing that, the painting turned into a real world. eventually nikki stumbles upon the painting again in SoS and she regains her lost memories.

its explained in the other games that nikki loses her memories every time she goes to another miraland. her core personality remains but the memories of the old world fade and get replaced by the next one.

as far as we know, there are infinite miralands but only one nikki.

Feed Mountain Dew (tm) of Inspiration to the fat dragon (or Kilo as some call him), and you'll get the sketch soon enough. Also the current cat 5* has a pseudo-barefoot thingy as shoes and the 4* on the dragon banner has also toeless socks-like footwear.

Ever since I got these, my nikka will never be truly shod. Still waiting for a true barefoot piece, or maybe just some light jewelry.

I have noticed this since day 1 all those months ago and I doubt they will ever fix it, but Nikki's footstep noise isn't even. The left side is slightly louder than the right, like they they fucked up mixing the directional audio by having the volume be 60/40 but no one ever notices because a good chunk of the playerbase is on mobile or god forbid console, and even if they do play on PC most aren't actually autistic about audio and wear open back audiophile headphones every time they play. I've tested this on other devices too. Putting this in surveys and customer support tickets goes nowhere, I just simply have to deal with it by lowering the sound effects volume and try not to pay too much attention to it or I freak a little bit.

When you're doing part of the quest where you're looking for the girl who disappeared, there's a guy with her broken umbrella and you can repair it for one feather. If you deny him the feather, Nikki gets caught in the rain that comes immediately after and dies.
