How does defeat taste like?

SCHIZO THEORY TIME:

- Old ass screenshot of Puberty song from Isaac was a teaser for Week 8 song.

- Week 8 opponent is a HUGE threat according to Dave.

- Knowing about huge threat, we can come back to fake leaks from Meatku's team and see that apparently the tv news show something happening to earth.

- Dave posted about pissing flatearthers off back in 2022. Suicide hotline would also be reasonable to show in tv news. We also know for a fact that Week 8 has been in development AT LEAST since september 2021.

- One of the new flas, has one called "nc tv 2" and we know that Week 8 stage is filled with tvs from Pitstop 2 trailer.

- Dave at some point on stream said that he saw a mod that maybe did something they were planning in game. The thing that he commented on back then was Dathugwizards mod with spooky kids knocking on doors.

- Week 8 mechanic is gonna force tv into your face Warioware style, and you'll have to play the chart that the animations in those tv have.

I think the week will be very heavy on mechanics, I have predictions for a few.

i don’t want to say they were fucking around for three years and lying to cover their asses but-
i do believe week 8 has been done and to some extent weekend 1 as well. they pushed weekend 1 out because that was all their stops: cutscenes, mechanics, introductions during songs. however the community was faster and had more than likely taken some of the devs ideas, which is part of the reason they were brought on, it eliminated competition.
Tl;dr i believe it’s going to be the same reception. the hype will be minimal. the build up will come from streamers, the devs vaugeposting, and the “””leaks””” here are already trying to bring hype, poorly.

Blazin' playing as a completely normal fnf song despite the switch from singing to fighting was really lame. There isn't even anything for Darnell making you lose health whenever he punches you, nothing!
2hot's mechanic felt very underwhelming because it amounted to pressing two completely normal arrows (one to click the gun, one to fire it) instead of anything actually interesting.
I am hopeful they do something actually cool for the gameplay mechanics, I'm starting to think the ghost tapping during absence of player notes is ACTUALLY intended for the player to do things during their turn, such as moving, fighting, interacting with things in the stage, etc. The "NC TV" thing makes me think of a mechanic where you have to change the TV channel to something that Bro likes
