For those interested, difference between SS0 Selena and SS0 Vergil in phys is very small. SSS Vergil is massively better.

Depends. For slash, she's a pretty important subdps. For phys, Vergil<->Alisa (leap) swap will suffice for a budget account.
Oblivion is not necessary, but if you're starting and you have, say SSS R2 Lilith, she can enable makeup lightning and ice teams that just go solo Nanami/Wanship with Luna and Lilith as supports.
This team also works well in dark even at high invest, although next patch it won't be good anymore. (instead use Crepuscule, Lilith and either Ishmael or Karen)
By herself, though, Luna's damage is not good, but her special class is necessary to really enable Ishmael's damage in nihil anyway.
Pyroath is nice, but if your Dante is SS3 or higher, she will only be of use in Plasma.
Focus on having at least a gen 2/3 tank and amp for each team, as well as a main dps and subdps. This is what will make the biggest difference.

Unless hyper tuning & more reso's do make more of a difference than i thought? I usually always frame 1 slap on 3 reso and hyper tune all so I've never really looked at the BP before that. Just feels odd to have them so low down in my characters

Go ahead, it's a good choice. Though honestly at this point don't bother with Luna's sig, she only needs it if you want to field her. But just field Ishmael and your strongest elemental tank/amp sub-DPS, and you're golden.

They are pretty much all fielded as subDPS, even Karen who's much weaker than the other dark team members. That's because gen 2/3 tanks apply a shred field after their signature move, that applies 1. the 20% tank EDB shred 2. their own 25~45% elemental shred and 3. their memory set 15% shred (the ones like Bathlon, not Einsteina/Gloria who have a hard cooldown)
This is ultra important in warzone where you want to apply it to every new wave.

When Dante and Vergil click, they are the most fun units in the game. Cottie 4 piece can have a very long uptime too.

To be fair, the last time I even attempted Fulghor was like a couple months ago before I stopped playing. I'm still pretty bad at routing since I came back, but I'm still much better now compared to how absolutely trash I used to be. Are you playing solo? I find most people nowadays are good enough at routing. Personally I just do starter camp - closest poi that may have key and kill most mobs - gaol - castle or if start out on northern site might hit multiple gaols since most people now carry gaol damage relic if find keys. Though do tend to hit castle at level 4/5 asap. Unless the boss is BBH down under they're doable fast enough and Knights are easy souls to level 10 in day 1. Fucked if they are giants though gotta cope with level 7/8.

I've mainly been playing with a friend who finally got it a couple weeks ago. I have been doing solo when they're not online because the few rando runs I've tried since coming back have had people just dropping out of runs, which is pretty frustrating. I would have just preferred to do rando runs and rely on someone else to do the routing, but since my friend hasn't played as much, I've had to take care of it myself. I got used to PGR chars, and played 5 ages ago - Dante and Vergil seem way harder to use than any other S Rank character, as they should be since they have a varied skillset

However, I feel like they are too slow in their anims, mostly Dante. Vergil's OK and can get some combos off, but you have to be careful during your basics. Unfortunately I can't get many basics off for either of them in actual combat, and their Aerials unlike Pyroath don't give iframes....which is gay as fuck

I'm pretty happy with how the Engineering Force room turned out. There's still a lot of recrafting to do, and there are some things I don't really like about it, but I've accepted the fact that there is no such thing as a perfect Dorm room.
It's nice, bright and cozy. It has a warm fireplace, a plush bunny and fridges full of cold DocPep and beer electrolytes. It has windows displaying holographic fireworks, Karen's disc collection and a Lucia poster. It has Bridget's workshop and boxes full of biggest cogs possible. It even has a nice sofa where you can lie down and relax while Nanami's squid robot is bringing you a drink. I think that's good enough. Good enough...

Vera thing only really works at SSS, at lower ranks you simply won't have enough energy to ult right away with one or zero pings, meaning you'd mostly just waste time. You won't get "free" qte either, since only SSS rank resets qte triggers on swap.
The amount of Nanami's ults depends on her rank and specific waves, you don't get full free sword after first ult under SSS.

I looked at his Selena one and it's mostly correct. In actual gameplay you might want to mixup some concerto orbs in different points of the rotation, but the main idea is correct. To be fair, it's hard to fuck up Selena's basic loop anyways.

That's because she, in fact, doesn't do all that much damage in phys. It's mostly due to the overall balancing likely, since Hanying is very strong when she doesn't fucking miss her ult. Most of your damage at SS0 comes from hold dodge, so make sure you have your qtes up for that.
She's very strong in glaciation though, even at SS0. Back when I was testing her SS0, I got nearly 9mil with her in glaciation.

There's also the fact that dmc rotations changed like three or four times since the beta, and they might still change again. While Dante's extremely linear and mostly settled on the default two ults cycle, Vergil has more options, so I imagine we might see some more changes in the future.

The indicator is the red marks on the enemy. If you missed your basic on marks and bricked your orbs then you just roll under the table and cry about how much of a living failure you are and how nobody likes you.
That being said, after the first rotation you usually won't have this problem, especially if you have SS3 or higher since you'll have more orbs than you actually need to finish the rotation, and enemies don't die that easily.
