In my experience kurokage is an all-or-nothing raid.
If you don't time it exactly such that your hyper-buffed DPS is ready to do a bunch of rotations while kurokage is in its groggy state, you're not getting the clear.
And getting to that point depends on RNG crap like hoping all your students don't lose too much HP or else it activates the confusion debuff and ruins your run.
Kurokage's confusion mechanic is easily the most infuriating boss mechanic in the entire game, what a peace of shit

You can try combining all three of them, but I've honestly never understood what impact does the dot's strength have on the gauge.
