As a newbab (started playing 3 months ago) i can tell you that the start is a bit rough, specially if, like me, you start playing in a dead month at the end of the season, too late for the full stop walpurgis, the sweeper intervallo and the second year anniversary and too soon for anything besides a Canto that you won't be able to play because you're still at Canto 5 by the time it drops.
The fact that you can't access MDH also means that your main team will be a ragtag group of whatever playable IDs you managed to pull (in my case Cinqlair carried me all the way up to Canto 6 lol).
So yeah, building teams as a newplayer is a huge hassle, not only you have to shard IDs but also EGOs that oldfags got for free or with the Pass, not only that, even if you manage to build a team you might still get gimped because it needs a certain ID or EGO that is walled behing Walpurgis or because it belongs to the last season (i still seethe about the fact that my Rupture team will remain gimped for months because i missed out on Mao Ryoshu and Outis)

The point I'm making is that there is nothing strange about Ryoshu accepting the sinners if that does happen, calling her just a murderhobo is misunderstanding how she's been treating the sinners so far. The only one she openly showed distaste towards is Ishmael for letting go of her edge.
When Heathcliff calls his coworkers a family right next to her her reaction to it is pretty lukewarm, when she usually has pretty mean things to say about it if other people use that word lightly.
She joins in on the family posting in canto 7.
She doesn't push back on Rodya when she starts personally insulting her and just lets it go.
And there are ids like Lobshu where she's kind of looking after Yi Sang and in her Maidshu id we are straight up told that she is heartbroken due to the Heath turning out the way he did.
There is definitely kindness in her and it's been hinted at multiple times, and I think it will play a huge role in her canto.
