ngl, I do miss the times when people were more immersed and the maps far more spacious. Back then tracking perks were far more worth it, and the game was genuinely fun as jank as it was. Survivors who looped actually knew how to do this shit and had map knowledge since no windows of opportunity crutch, along with fewer palettes in general.

So now that keys reveal the aura of the hatch, how should Left Behind be reworked into? Because in it's current state it's pretty much useless. I like the idea of a solo perk, especially one that's based on your teammates leaving you behind but I really don't know what it could be that won't just make it completely busted or useless again.

For two, getting the hang of nurse's power takes too long for the average joe's liking, not even gonna mention how long it takes to master her blinks. the best you can do if the killer straight up ignores you is... slam gens and pray. take hits if it's convenient, but don't buzz around the chase looking for it. take shoulder the burden if this is a common occurrence. or deli so when your teammate does die and the killer feels more comfortable committing to a chase, you can keep it going even after getting downed and hooked

Why did I lose against a Singularity that wouldn't hook a survivor instead 2 survivors were slugged? in the amount of time the survivor crawls to safety someone would be half way done with a generator. they could have ended the game sooner if they just went for hooks.

Why a mix of slugging and hooking works:
-creates miscommunication between survivors
-self-unhook meter goes up slower
-killer can sometimes catch another survivor off-guard if that survivor is expecting to hook the recently downed survivor
-creates uncertainty

Why the Singularity won:
-they assessed that the team is very altruistic
-they were able to identify the roles of each survivor and play accordingly (ex: placing pods near downed survivors to look out for flashlight saves, tunneling the survivor that is trying to focus on gens because they aren't good at chase, etc)
-they kept pods on printers and strong loops
-not using all pods for gens made them less predictable during chase
-SIngularity's pods work better guarding slugged survivors than hooked survivors
-when a slugged survivor is healed, their pods spread to anyone nearby

I had an idea for something that could maybe fix tunneling, what if kills weren’t based on like each individual survivor’s hook states, but the total amount of hooks? Like for instance say the fifth or sixth hook always results in the hooked survivor dying, and from then on every other hook results in a kill(the 8th hook, 10th etc)? It would completely erase the “tunnel one person out and get a kill with 3 hooks” scenario
