I had a 30-0 run in a bradley on peak so it's not that bad. There's no lock on ground anti-tank weapons yet so don't overpush and you won't die in a tank unless you get pushed by a big infantry attack or tank support.

some thoughts:
Some vehicles (tanks, IFVs, Helis) are not faction specific. ie both sides can use an M1 Abrams, they spawn on the map with 30 rounds, but once you get down to 4 rounds, it will automatically fill up your ammo
the RPG has a built in scope that you can't take off, or switch to iron sights
you can carry both a rpg and stinger at the same time; like the vehicles, both sides have the RPG and Stinger
support is both medic and ammo supply in 1 box now; i wish assault had medic
class locked weapons is only on conquest for now
last bit, I'm getting 140 fps average at 4k with a rtx 5090 on DLSS Quality, Frame Gen off, and I have a 9800X3D with 64gb of ram

It's too fast, this is nothing like BC2
The breakthrough objective sizes are way to tiny
Jesus the jets feel bad to control. Extremely sluggish bricks paired with small map boundaries and low flight ceiling. The damage is alright, gun's overtuned agaisnt jets and helis, it shreds them in less than a second it feels. Bombs get plenty of multikills too, but the flying just feels like total shit.

I think the MBT and IFV are insanely op and over the top. The remote turret for the passenger, the coaxial, and the main gun on the IFV melt people in 2 or 3 hits. The tanks also feel like they have double the health of the tanks in every other game
Game just feels terrible overall. Feel like I’m playing ground war. Even the vehicle seat UI looks like it.
It’s just boring as well. If you want to have fun you get punished because the game railroads you towards infantry combat in the tightest area you can reach, which forces you further into low ADS builds on high rate of fire weapons. It gets stale quick. Maybe I just got too good at games competitively to enjoy this but it’s just not for me I guess which sucks.

DMR plus shotgun on assault is the best. Long range, mid range, close range, all on one class.
The infantry combat is better, but the maps in the beta currently are waaaaaaaay too small and infantry focused, it does not feel like Battlefield.
You cannot even breathe for a second without an enemy being right on top of you. Battlefield maps in BF3/BF4 used to have a lot of negative space around them so you'd not constantly see enemies every second unless you went to a busy area of the map. These maps force you to be on your toes 24/7 similar to call of duty.
Whats worse is Battlefield always had an element of strategy about it, but the maps are too small to really do any real strategy. It always feels like your only option is to run directly at the enemy via one of the map lanes.

it's time to admit that bf3, specifically the abundance of hardcore servers was the peak of the series. bf4 was just 3.5 aka autistic lil brother with too many reskin loot crate attachments and 2x as many vehicles stuffed into each map. we are never going back. just smile because it happened and move on. at least indie games caught up.

I don't understand why milsim/hardcorefags always pretend that positioning doesn't matter in other games. It does matter. A lot. You just also need a little bit of aim too to enforce it and somebody isn't completely fucked against any player because they caught them off guard.
