I have not played bozja since ShB so I can't compare them 1to1 and tell you exactly what's wrong with OC, but something about it's design is just broken. I've spent a fuck ton of time in bozja but I barely leveled three jobs in OC.

That';s the problem is nothing is designed for casuals. Trials are Extremes with mechanics ripped out, normal raids are savage with mechanics ripped out.
Normal mode content is an afterthought because they put a bunch of hardcore savage raiders in charge of coming up with new content.
Their new "content for everyone" initiative is going to fail too because it's literally just
