The other games are just better at playing the long game.

Characters reference future areas or future characters far ahead of time.
Storylines play out over multiple versions instead of all at once.

Kuro, on the other hand, can write amazing stories, but they only last for 1 version.
Characters stop being relevant quickly.
Little to no foreshadowing and gradual setup. Even the glimpses of Phrolova we see before 2.5 have hardly any connection to her most recent story. We mostly just know that she exists and she's acting against us.
The lore and background text provides context only for things you're experiencing right now, and leave no implications for the future, or the story fails to act on those implications.

It's clear they are still suffering from the CBT rewrites and yet they don't give themselves breathing room by constantly shifting patch durations shorter and longer.
They're constantly building the bridge under their feet, and they don't know where they're heading.

There is a major disconnect because the devs have clearly drawn a line to separate 1.X content from current story. 2.X is basically a reboot.

They still benefit from the heavy damage buff along with Iuno's personal damage making her a sidegrade to shokie in those teams

They can't proc it, because every time you apply a shield you get 4%, so if you don't get 10 different shields in less than 10 seconds you basically get nothing. Augusta is the only character that gets several shields per second, monk tits at best gets 3 over 5 seconds, the other characters apply only one big shield.
So basically no character in the game can use that buff, since you need to do heavy damage AND be able to apply a shield to yourself faster than 1 second per shield.
Maybe she'll get changed in the next beta version, but as far as we've seen the changes Cartethyia, Lupa and Phrolova got during beta was to make them even MORE need (like Phrolova being unable to use stringmaster or shorekeeper buffs).

It's hard to rate non-maxed characters since you still have some stats from leveling up and from skill/talent nodes. But those are good. Ideally you'd want ~70% crit rate, but it can get annoying chasing that without a crit rate weapon. So this is a good stopping point.

My team with her is Shokie, HRover, and Froglove, aka Team SonoroWife. Drop Shokie buff first, then into Froglove to get her Ult going, then into HRover until his bar runs out.

It must be something with my autistic completitionist brain, but I love to explore every nook and crany. I also love Echo farming and have no idea why people bitch about it. In this game the values between low and high numbers are also not that big so low rolls are perfectly fine. If anyone here think echoes are bad, you never played another gacha game. You have to start the fight with her, outro to Rococo, outro to Cantarella, and then outro to Phrolova, then her damage will be good. You also don't see a lot of her damage since it's done by Hecate off field, and you have to do your rotations right with Rococo/Cantarella to not use two echo skills to close to each other since they only count for enhanced Hecate attacks every 3 seconds or so.

Encore is stronger than Roccia, but both have crazy high potential with encore being able to create sonoro spheres and roccia being able to understand, analyse and communicate with frequencies and echoes. Roccia is a sub-dps though, she has stronger teams but not as the main damage dealer (unless S6).
Encore can use the jellyfish weapon, stringmaster or zhezhi weapon. Roccia has her signature.
Roccia gauntlet works decent with zani (and jianxin somewhat), Iuno gauntlet should work with xiangli yao. But my guess is that zani gauntlet is more general even if not the second best in many.
