Storylines play out over multiple versions instead of all at once.

Kuro, on the other hand, can write amazing stories, but they only last for 1 version.
Characters stop being relevant quickly.
Little to no foreshadowing and gradual setup. Even the glimpses of Phrolova we see before 2.5 have hardly any connection to her most recent story. We mostly just know that she exists and she's acting against us.
The lore and background text provides context only for things you're experiencing right now, and leave no implications for the future, or the story fails to act on those implications.

It's clear they are still suffering from the CBT rewrites and yet they don't give themselves breathing room by constantly shifting patch durations shorter and longer.
They're constantly building the bridge under their feet, and they don't know where they're heading.

They can't proc it, because every time you apply a shield you get 4%, so if you don't get 10 different shields in less than 10 seconds you basically get nothing. Augusta is the only character that gets several shields per second, monk tits at best gets 3 over 5 seconds, the other characters apply only one big shield.
So basically no character in the game can use that buff, since you need to do heavy damage AND be able to apply a shield to yourself faster than 1 second per shield.
Maybe she'll get changed in the next beta version, but as far as we've seen the changes Cartethyia, Lupa and Phrolova got during beta was to make them even MORE need (like Phrolova being unable to use stringmaster or shorekeeper buffs).

It's hard to rate non-maxed characters since you still have some stats from leveling up and from skill/talent nodes. But those are good. Ideally you'd want ~70% crit rate, but it can get annoying chasing that without a crit rate weapon. So this is a good stopping point.

Wuwa gates you with echo exp and makes you roll on every single echo hoping it's going to turn out good, while genshin artifacts take stamina to farm but you're rarely gated by exp because you don't level as many since you can see right from the start if they're shit or not, and because they cost stamina even something less than perfect is acceptable.

Learn her rotation properly, make sure you stack crit damage, she's a beast for me. Though I have her weapon, which is a huge increase over the standard banner option (and a decent increase over Stringmaster).

My team with her is Shokie, HRover, and Froglove, aka Team SonoroWife. Drop Shokie buff first, then into Froglove to get her Ult going, then into HRover until his bar runs out.

1000% make sure you have her echo set, as well. 20% crit rate and echo damage is delicious.

Also, I LOVE exploration and Echo farming. For me, a new area is better content than almost anything else. It must be something with my autistic completitionist brain, but I love to explore every nook and crany. I also love Echo farming and have no idea why people bitch about it. If I get a bad echo, I don't even bat an eye, and when the good echoes hit it just feels so good. In this game the values between low and high numbers are also not that big so low rolls are perfectly fine. If anyone here think echoes are bad, you never played another gacha game. You have to start the fight with her, outro to Rococo, outro to Cantarella, and then outro to Phrolova, then her damage will be good. You also don't see a lot of her damage since it's done by Hecate off field, and you have to do your rotations right with Rococo/Cantarella to not use two echo skills to close to each other since they only count for enhanced Hecate attacks every 3 seconds or so.
If you just want to unga bunga use Camellya, but if you use Phrolova correctly she outdamages Cammy by a significant margin.

Souls games were all about figuring out the bosses gimmicks like in old RPGs, demons souls is specially good in this regard. Encore is stronger than Roccia, but both have crazy high potential with encore being able to create sonoro spheres and roccia being able to understand, analyse and communicate with frequencies and echoes. Roccia is a sub-dps though, she has stronger teams but not as the main damage dealer (unless S6).
Encore can use the jellyfish weapon, stringmaster or zhezhi weapon. Roccia has her signature.
Roccia gauntlet works decent with zani (and jianxin somewhat), Iuno gauntlet should work with xiangli yao. But my guess is that zani gauntlet is more general even if not the second best in many.

If you use Cantarella, Cammy and Phrolova I'm not sure what would be the optimal way to play. Since you want Cantarella to buff Phrolova with outro but you also want Cammy to damage as much as possible before Hecate runs out of notes. You would have to find the sweet spot where Cantarella can fit near the end of Hecate's duration.

Just concentrate on maxing out 1 character at a time. That 1 character that you maxed out will carry you in every single battle.

The thing that hurts the most if you don't ascend to phase 3 is the guaranteed 3 drops from weekly bosses instead of 2. (9 per week instead of 6)

This lootmapper gear I just got is amazing. I was ready to write off the open world exploration in this game as being mind-numbing perimeter checks like in Elden Ring, but this gear changes everything. It eliminates almost all the trial and error of exploring in this big open landscape (the only trial and error is figuring out where items are located in terms of elevation, because the game doesn't have a 3D map).

Yes, but the schedule is a bit irregular. Some characters get their rerun banners earlier, some get those a bit later.
Keep in mind that early content is... mid at best. That includes story, music, puzzles and exploration. Things start getting better when you reach Mt. Firmament, the quality drops a bit around Black Shores and improves drastically in Rinascita. First few hours may feel underwhelming. The combat system is very good though, feels like the one in Nier: Automata, but even more polished and fluid.

What made you drop that game? I heard there was a big drama that made people angry. Skin gacha or something else?

As a new player you'll have months of quests and exploration to do for pull income. Some events need you do be on par with the current main story. Once you're fully done, all you can do is the 10 minutes and dip with some events sprinkled in. Expect on average to have to skip 1 character banner to ensure 1 character banner later.
Reruns happen anywhere between 3 to 6 months apart. We don't have a clear formula because the anniversary came with many reruns before.

That guy is dishonest. When Nikke CN launched, he made a very misleading video about how Shift Up was treating the global playerbase. Claiming the CN server was getting QoL features and rewards that global players weren’t. But he conveniently left out the fact that CN was only getting those things to overcompensate for censorship, missing characters, and a rewritten story that the CN version is forced to endure.

Nikke’s story literally revolves around the idea that the ARK central government cannot be trusted and is doing shady things behind the scenes. But in China, there are laws against portraying anti-government themes even in fiction. So they had to rewrite the entire plot to avoid getting shut down by the Chinese government.
