Some ex-dev posted a couple weeks ago how WoW's quests and storylines have become "softer" is because the devs are all older with kids now, and they want to make content that their kids can play. The guy who was responsible for SVs design during legion wanted to "make something else". Kul Tirans are surrogate "playable Vrykul".
Their entire catalogue is filled with "we can't *just* do that" or "we have to make it *right*", all the while touting creative freedoms above all else.
Blizzard does not fucking listen to its audience. They do not care, no matter how many "secret" surveys they send out. They do not care in the slightest about what their audience wants, they collect talking points and then present a solution that is on paper what people wanted but in the least desirable execution. The developers are spiteful creatures that are angry with the audience because they want to do their own thing but are forced to slog in the content mines for 40 year old trannies.
That's why Void Elves exist. Helffags have been crying since Vanilla, because Belffags don't want to play on the Niggerfaction and the Cuckoldfaction isn't content with the superior Elf option. So Blizzard finally relented - "Let's give them their Alliance Elves!" - And they gave them to us in the least expected, most grotesque way possible. It took such a massive shitstorm and playernumbers plummetting through the floor to get them to relent, again, and at least offer Velves the *options* to look like a Helf. Now the argument is about the racials but honestly at this point, Helffags are just ungratefags so fuck 'em.
But yeah - Blizzard doesn't work for their audience. They either bait you with teasers and excuses, or give you the stuff you asked for but in such a way you'll say "I don't want this" and then turn around and say: "See? You guys don't even know what you want!"

I wanted to try healing this season but it's so stressful. Timewalking and heroics weren't hard, but I tried m0 Ara KAra last night as disc and couldn't keep the party up and ended up dipping after 3 wipes. I'm not sure if it was the tank pulling too much or if it was all me or a mix. I then tried m0 Floodworks as resto shaman and we didn't wipe at all. It was still stressful and I kept letting the rogue die but I don't know if that was my fault or his fault either.

I know healing probably gets easier the more you try it like anything, but it's really daunting to get into
