Yeah, I think her mindset is that while you can have good non adepts, on average, non adepts and adepts cannot tolerate each other's existence. It's just a law of nature. She doesn't really hate non adepts or even see them as evil, anymore than you might hate a bear. She even seems reluctant, like wiping out the non adepts is a necessary evil to stop the eradication of her people. In Copen's route, she doesn't begrudge him trying to stop her; she just sees conflict as an unfortunate inevitability, and she will make sure that adepts come out on top.

She's the most outraged Eden member when she comes across scenes of crimes against humanity on adepts, and the one who pushes the most for indiscriminate terrorism on non-adepts to take out that anger. Furthermore, how are people able to identify adepts so easily? In the first game, it's because they're using Lumen as a radar to find them, but that technology seems to be treated as one of a kind. If adepts wanted to stay hidden, wouldn't it be as simple as just not using their powers? Like how were the anti-adept assholes who tortured and nearly killed Tenjian and Zonda able to identify that they were adepts if they weren't throwing around their powers?

Second, why did the third game go so hard on the no-kill stuff when the first games are highly lethal. ZED is cool, but he's not a nice guy. Of the different antagonists, he's the only one who isn't acting out of PTSD or desperation. His whole philosophy is that he should be king of the world because he's the coolest, most intelligent, and most powerful guy around. There isn't the ideological grounding and self-rationalizations, or the self-sacrificing that Zonda and Nova have. ATEMS as a group doesn't seem any more worthy of mercy than Eden or Sumeragi, and I never sympathized with any of the ATEMS members as much as I did with some of the dead G7 and Sumeragi Swordsmen.

It mostly goes back to GV being so much more powerful than his opponents that a lot of the killings feel less necessary. 3rd game establishes that he can use his power non-lethally if he feels like it as well. It's one of the issues I have with GV. Tsuda has stated numerous times that GV is the most powerful adept in the setting, because he can't resist fluffing up his boy. This turns all the fights from a desperate struggle where lethal force is required into one where GV toys with his much weaker opponent before stylishly killing them. I think GV enjoying it and then being ashamed later would be in-character. Adepts under the effect of the armed phenomena are typically mentally unhinged. As Nova states, the armed phenomena lays an adept's ego bare, making them behave like more extreme versions of themselves and stripping them of restraint. Nova actually hates the feeling. It comes back up in GV3, where dragon radiation arms adepts, making them obsessed nuts. Returning to GV, he is under armed phenomena as well (hence, Armed Blue), but it's not as extreme or obvious as the versions that his enemies use, so maybe his murderous joy is tied to his arming.

IIRC, MMZ's score isn't based on style, but performance. If you play efficiently, use all the tools at your disposal, you get a high score. It's a bit different from GV, where you have to play like you're toying with your opponents to get the fairy singing and a good score. The scoring also has an in-setting justification as GV really getting into a groove, whereas the MMZ scoring is more abstract. Funnily enough, Kirin gets high kudos from playing optimally, or at least closer to her optimal style than GV.
