If you swap it to x3 it should show the guts amount going from 5 to 15, as well as the cash going to 3x what you would have got. In a normal Persona game eventually you know all the girls and it's easy to choose.

This is especially bad in p5x where social links are so empty of any text, and the new characters as such completely devoid of personality right now, so I'd need to go with superfluous reasons like their voice, basic demeanor and whatnot. And most of them won't be part of the main story, that is also comparatively speaking short so far.
I'm somewhat hoping that the entire thing becomes a bit more fleshed out as we continue, but that makes it even more important to just stay single, possibly forever.
