I’ve only messed with ex narm but I don’t really get her yet. I haven’t played against a competent ex djeeta or gran yet. Both feel easier to deal with, especially djeeta.

It feels like EX Narm and Djeeta are somewhat lacking compared to what their base versions can do. EX Narm basically loses all mixups for a straightforward kit, whilst Djeeta simply gets slightly more damage but loses corner carry and U button mixup.

EX Gran feels the most beefed, where he might be a contender for better than base. He loses full screen fireball, but gets a move that guard crushes, a plus on block tool to continue offence and changed his U gimmick which wasn't used much into a 1 button DP.

Wilnas seems very weak. Damage output is high but everyone in this game can do that, especially if it's a character that mashes on a yellow move or blue jumpscare move to start combos with, or just normal anti air/c.H counter combos. He struggles vs anyone with a decent projectile and his meme 66L isn't gonna help at all with that. Any sword shoto will fuck him up almost for free, a lot of his jumpscare dash moves can be reacted to with DP or super and he can't even fucking dash normally and his gay little command dash is shit. If he was just a normal character he'd be much better, these gimmicks are not it. You can also just do fast normals to clip his dash moves, without really trying hard at all. Worst that can happen is that one of his punches catches you but the damage is negligible.
10/10 animations and everything else, 4/10 as a character, too gimmicky, would have just unironically been better as Fire Soriz instead of what he is now. ArcSys/Cygames will always find a way to invent new trash somehow.

I don't know Siegfried enough. The SSBA is 8 frames startup, the recovery on his EX-move should be 27 frames. Don't know if manually cancelling it would be shorter.
