Blaze’s character wasn’t “ruined” by Silver, she was screwed by Sega’s garbage continuity, just like everyone else.If you’re mad about retcons, blame the writers, not the time traveler who actually tried to fix his timeline instead of whining about marriage.

Amy isn’t “just a bad joke” she’s a recurring bad joke Sega keeps forcing into stories where she adds nothing. Silver at least attempted depth before Flynn turned him into a meme. The reason it's an issue is because the "alternative" has never actually existed. Sonic has always been this way. The "alternate" versions come from Archie, IDW, the movies. Outside of the videogames and moreover outside of Japan.
