Given that no one is talking about it, another reason why Halo is staying alive is because of its merchandise, novels, Halo Infinite store, possible multiplayer sequel if it wasn't canceled, along with wanting to put Halo on PlayStation and Switch, this kills Microsoft profitability push since Halo is a chose franchise, Gears is also getting the same treatment. The rest is believable though, games need to come out within a year and be a money printing machine, that's the requirement. Microsoft can't be "the biggest publisher" without them. I believe the next gen Xbox console getting canned.
