I remember an argument a few threads back over Gore Magala's virus and how dumb it was and that led into arguments over how retarded Frenzied and Uplifted monsters are, but nobody ever mentioned the swarm of parasites that attached to and turned monsters into overheating life energy batteries to feed on that were controlled by the final boss elder dragon and after it was slain the parasites scattered to attach to other monsters and turned them into that game's version of tempered/frenzied monsters.
