You built shojin when honestly BC is just better numerically against a top lane (lvl 7 WW has 54 armour, going down to 37, 35%->25%), shojin increases your damage by 12%. So by lvl 8 onwards you pretty much outscaled your shojin value, and lets not forget ww is likely conditioning and likely to build tabis and maybe a bramble vest himself.
