The thing I like most about Epoch is it's claims to be Classic+. Every private server claims to be Classic+ in one way or another, but there's a huge difference.
While the lagfests and cyrillic, alien languages plague nearly all popular private servers, they use Classic+ as an advertisement. Not Epoch. Epoch uses Classic+ as a homage to what they've completely revamped and improved upon in a way that the original author could never accomplish.
It's objectively and literally a tip of the fedora at the original WoW team while saying "We'll take it from here." That's not funserver, that's betterserver. That's Epoch Classic+.

It's funny how people have been saying for days that the second they got the servers "stable" some custom content that was untested would cause them to bring it down and that's 100% exactly what happened.
This is going to be the process going forward you know? People are going to get to the Barrens and find a tree has been rotated on top of Sergra Darkthorn making half the quests undoable, down for 12 hours, then they'll get to Loch Modan and realize that the fucking loch is empty, 12 hours, ge to Hillsbrad their cool custom yeti quest mob they added has an ability that teleports you under the ground, 12 hours.
