the only thing that's easy to fuck up with that team is letting Lighter's debuff fall off during the stun window. besides that just give Ellen all the chain attacks both in the stuns and cancelling Astra's singing after her ult, kill all the clones(very easy with new Ellen), try to keep Ellen on field dpsing as much as possible, parry into Lighter for faster stuns, just play intuitively in general and have decent discs.

In addition to the above anon, while you can roll however you like, just know there are basically two different playstyles in the game. When you're first starting out, you'll be locked into one of these styles until you can pick up 2/3 characters that will enable their own team. The two styles are 1) Crit DPS and 2) Anomaly shenanigans (Very generally speaking).

TLDR: Crit DPS is basic hack and slash. You attack alot and want to make your characters do a lot of damage by juicing up their crit rates and crit damage. They do the most damage when an enemy is stunned and that's usually when you dump your most powerful moves.

Anomaly Shenanigans is when you start hitting the enemy but the health doesn't really go down that much. Instead, a little circle to the right of their health bar fills up quickly. Once this bar is filled, usually a chunk of damage is then taken off the enemy's health bar via an affliction (there are 5 currently with 2 upgraded versions). So in this style of combat, you do a lot of chip damage that occasionally does massive heaps of damage throughout the fight.

Aside from some universal support units or repurposing some other units, these two teams rarely share members with each other so its recommended you focus on only one style until you get at least 2 teams made.

Current anomaly shilling has not been favorable for my wife.

Orphie feels like a character people will skip because they don't have S. Anby and then regret it later when she's the key part of an OP agent team built around aftershocks.

Don't ask me why I'm autistic about it, but this is how I've always visualized it. While Yi Xuan leans into the crit DPS playstyle, her and especially Miyabi have something different going on about them. They're outliers. The panda was only made for Yi Xuan so he's the only one who doesn't really fit this graph. The six supporting characters in the middle can be on either side of Crit DPS or anomaly teams line. Those on the line between DPS and Supporter are units that basically function off screen but their major contribution is increased damage output directly while also enhancing your main gameplan.
