I honestly dislike this theory, mostly because, while there is very clear foreknowledge demonstrated by both Vergilius and Faust's knowledge of the Flow and all that shit, but nothing has been pointing towards a loop happening at a grand scale in the City (after all, even in LobCorp the 'Loop' still let the time pass, just not in the same degree as the rest of the world).
It would come out too out of pocket imo, in LobCorp you already suspected that the looping was more than a game mechaning by the time you reached Tiph's floor.

Just a small correction here. The flow Vergilius follows is not exactly foreknowledge, it's more so "going with your gut" type attitude, or following where life is leading you. Flow of the world is probably something else altogether, or maybe the flow is just making enough setup for Dante just do what he thinks he should, and somehow that'll lead them to the correct path.
Also, I wouldn't exactly consider it out of pocket when we don't know a lot so far in regards to how Dante started this, how they swapped their head out seemingly really fast that the purple fucks wondered how the hell they did it so quick, and while it seems cheap, I feel like the whole clock theme is a big indicator of the possibility being there. He already rewinds the sinners in some super specific way, that somehow does not constitute a proper revival, despite them keeping their memories after the fact, so why couldn't there be a bigger scale rewind? If it goes back to before the bond was formed it could maybe explain why none keep their memories.

Also remember, Dante for some reason is immune to mind wipe, and kept the memories, if that works on a rewind, maybe the company and original Dante revise what they went through and make adjustments in order to ensure the next attempt has a better chance of success.

This is just just theorizing with little info, but do remember the the fragments are linked to HQ and their connection maintained in some way, so for all we know he could trigger something that works with the full power of the ones collect. Herbert did state the rewind for revival most likely has a price to pay as well, I can only picture so far something along the lines of, it not really being revival, but more so taking sinners from other extremely similar worlds and putting them into ours to continue the journey.
Though yeah, Faust network probably works in regards to attempting to gain foreknowledge, but I think the issue here is that we're not the only ones making use of other worlds for foreknowledge, so we're going to get outplayed as well at some point, so my idea is something like, instead of just relying on other worlds for knowledge, the loop is there to ensure that extremely miniscule adjustments are being made so we turn things around at some point through a small action that seemed inconsequential, or setup that didn't seem to matter in the grand scheme of things that the mirror tech N.corp is using to spy on possible futures can't pick up on, cause a loop is fucking with that one specific world itself, so maybe that makes these slight changes build up until they lead to something that couldn't be perceived by them to stop us, because we were the first world to do so thanks to that power.
