Oh boy do I owe y'all an apology. I got a lucky body armour and weapon drop early in cruel act 1 or 2, and I have not been able to get upgrades for anything since (I am lvl 93 now). Been picking up all relevant gear and weapons for my class and using reforging if all mods suck, or recombinator if there are couple decent ones. Even if the recombinator hits for 2 mods (no shot you'll get 3), you still have 4 mods to go. The exalt slam fails and goes back into storage until i find the same weapon/gear with a decent stat and do it over again.

I use Gwennen/rog/Tujen to craft frequently. It's actually kind of the only decent method if you can farm artifacts, as it's costly of them. Between their shops and the recombinator, I never have artifacts, as one map/expedition can get you enough to do max 2.

And of course, when i am above 2 mill i always gamble with alva.

I am stuck on T2 content because i cant use better rings for damage because the rest of my gear lacks evasion, health, and resistances.

What's the solution here, so that crafting is not OP and everyone just gets the best items easily, but between that and what we have now? One idea I was going to suggest is that the recombinator spits out an item thats tier matches the lowest tier among items? something like that.

Boss loot is unrewarding, Loot systems are a mess, enemy damage/hp ramp up is insane, easy to brick a character, need guides, have to follow build guides just to complete campaign. Yea.....great game

I don't think you'll need many tips because it's just a good build that has coherent and intuitive progression. The only thing you should look out for is that you should be pianoing Rallying Cry and maybe Enduring Cry, because they lose their important benefits if you use autoexertion. Oh yeah and some people put different quality levels on their autoexerted warcries to make sure they stagger slightly, so they blow up spikes more often.

I just can't play Poe 1 and other old ARPGs after Poe 2, it feels so good. Even other modern ARPGs like Diablo 4 or Last Epoch don't come close

I don't really know POE patch history enough. Just feels like Mercs are very fleshed out (tons of voice lines, pretty decent balance outside of a few outliers like rallying cry, invuln shell and doryani) and basically shipped almost ready to go core without a total revamp. They don't feel like "borrowed power" the way other borrowed power league mechanics felt, where you could tell they were not meant to stay (stuff like crucible, sanctum relics affecting you outside of sanctum, rune enchants etc).
