I use Satsuki, admitedly gigamaxed and have hit rank 1 though I can never stay there.
Maybe the Serina is functionally better than a low investment Satsuki since she might let you cycle to the sHanako coinflip easier or something - I'm not sure, my point was just that if I see something as off-meta as a Serina I'd attack it in a heartbeat.
Lower bracket pvp is always a shitshow though, you have a lot of the other stuff so maybe the Serina baits people into thinking it'll be an easy win and then they find your otherwise meta-comp and it curbstomps newfags into feeding you defense coins.
