Plenty of these bosses were available at lower level caps, with worse supports available and worse gear and were clearable.
I think there's going to be situations where investing in your lower level dps characters can make a difference, it's just as always - invest in characters as and when you need them, invest in characters that have longevity in them and don't flush ligma down the drain.
I'm sure there are plenty of newfags that could clear a lot more bosses (or higher difficulty) than they try because they can't do a 1 team copycat of the most recent meta clear so give up.
Even these last few weeks there have been newbabs just giving up because they don't have Kisaki and are too lazy or naive to just look up earlier clears and do it with what they DO have when they've had the essentials for pre-Kisaki clears.

This is the comfy insane clear I used initially, presumably not replicable because I take it you're trying to save your Koharu for your 2nd team, but idk if you could try to ape this 1T, or at least get it close enough that you can push the boss over with a scrappy 2nd team.
If you want to stick with what you're trying, a lot of Kurokage runs are based around pushing just before a set of healing absorbs come in iirc, if you're not making that push then you might want to try stalling the phase out TO heal up some of the healing absorbs if you're getting instagibbed when you enter P2.
It's hard to give advice though when talking about non-standard clears. I fucking hate ST healers on the fight though, main reason my torments have been using Sena and not the faster iMari shit - I hate it.
