That's not how transferring sparks work, and the game does a terrible fucking job by not explaining so I can't blame you for not knowing.

The first two parents will ALWAYS be grandparents. (The only time grandparents are transferred is when you inbreed and use a parent that's its own grandparent.)
So what you should be doing is take your best 2* Stamina parent, Turf, Mile, Medium or Long, and then borrow a 3* Stamina + URA Finale parent(also Turf/Distance, style is worthless) and then you will ALWAYS roll the 2* Stamina & 3* Stamina/URA as grandparents. Just pray that the horse your using that becomes the legacy also rolls Stamina. Repeat this for a few days and you should eventually have a 7* Stamina parent.
