I’m basically just using ornerys skill build with some slight tweaks to it, but nearly 1:1 identical. Just look at her nell build video from 4 days ago. The trigger mod does a ton of work, as does the new dimension set but you can use slayer like ornery does and it’s still very strong.

It's never too late, there will be huge droughts between updates for you to catch up, and with the most recent update Nexon has begun rolling out the typical 'catch up' track that comes with games trying to stave off EOS. The game now has a bunch of layered power creep systems that you'll need to grind to tackle whatever is most relevant, and the gooks have resigned to designing new content for pretty much whatever is the strongest maxed out endgame meta currently. QoL is still relatively shit, with the loot dismantle dog being the only relevant change. Make of that what you will.

Been playing about a month now, focused on Ines, Malevolant and Last Dagger. Those are the three that are somewhat fully built, well, not the ideal cores for weapons but not awful. I do have Serena but she's nowhere near ready.

I feel completely useless in the new zone. I can mob somewhat okay but even mobs are so tanky I get swarmed. Not even going to say how useless I am against wall crasher. What do I do /tfd/?

Serena, Ines, and somewhat Freyna is the only reason why Axiom's main map content has so much enemy spam. They trivialize this kind of content, but then other Descendants are made non-viable. Even Storm Hanger is built around Serena (can dodge all of his attacks just by flying) or Freyna being used. I would bet money that the testers only played the top Descendants the entire S3 testing phase.

Ines wants a fully stacked Secret Garden. Meaning all 5 copies. You don't actually need any catas in it, just the passive maxed.
That will help some.
Otherwise check out some builds on youtube. Recent guides like to not use any HP mods and few HP components. Don't do that. Some bosses in Axion will oneshot you otherwise. Just too squishy nowadays. The Bravery set (which recent guides use) might be too squishy for Axion. Only one HP mainstat with all HP cores will leave you at very low max HP. Will work for all other content though. Sigma, 400%.
Also make sure you have the Max MP component, with in combat MP regen. She absolutely needs both of these stats.

You'll suck them in, hit detonate only to not not kill the enemies, and then they'll start melee attacking you the instant you let go and if that doesn't kill you they'll probably stagger you into a follow-up that does.

Imo for pure leveling it's the hard mode defense/kuiper mining levels. If you want leveling+Arche Tuning then Sigma Sector. If you want leveling with externals/reactor/weapon drops and shop currency it's 400%. Axion isn't terrible for leveling as mob density is plenty high, but I'd only do it if you're also actively wanting to farm something from Axion.

I like max cooldown to spam the magnetic burst for mobbing and so that I can recharge your shields as often as possible with it. It also lets me get away with using your jets for mobility purposes from time to time.
He is one of the only Frozen Heart set users in the entire game, and it is of course better than Hunter set because the guy has no MP. Slayer is course very good, too.

Instead of overwhelming shield, you could try that mod - final assault, I think it's called - that eats all your shields and adds damage based on shields lost when you use an ability, then you get free magnetic and shield charge from his passive after your shields deplete. Or I mean you could try that AND overwhleming shield if you really want to meme one shot colossi, though obviously you instantly die if you don't kill what you land on.

Superconductive bombing is pretty good for bossing, arguably better than one punch man even, plus it doesn't leave you exposed. You could maybe try the tackle mod but I like the defence better, haven't looked into what arche trigger stuff it does though. I have been continually disappointed by the self directed eruption because it'll often kill nothing but my machine when using it in more difficult places while dropping enemies directly in front of you, plus base shield is just really useful. The shield red mod has a funny exploit if you can move the mouse fast enough you hit a guy many times a second, shit damage but you get all your charge (I wish it blocked melee guys and ranged guys at the same time, then it might actually be worth the shield drain plus loss of your hands).
