netcode has been a solved problem for a decade. there is not some level of care that needs to be taken with it, there is literally 1 way of doing it. there is only so much you can do when a frame in a game takes 4ms and it takes 50ms for network packets to travel across the world. tick rate is irrelevant past 30hz but they make it 4x as high to appease reddit which really doesn't do anything except DDOS your internet.

the hit reg is actually too good, it's checking every position the enemy has been in during your latency range. most of your shots shouldn't be hitting but still do.

The launch will be a success but I feel the later patches will be make or break ESPECIALLY their blue balling around closed weapons

Since Liberation Peak sucks and there's two more infantry only maps, we only got four maps to potentially carry this game with some actual space to move around.

Yeah I never remember what the icons mean except medic and assault. I don't know what any of the little "achievements" or whatever that pop up next to your kills mean except like double kill. I don't know who's in my squad except for when I have the option for squad revives. I don't know why the big map needs to cover literally the entire screen and also do this weird slow zoom when you open it. I don't know why we have to have floating damage numbers but don't have health numbers on your own health bar (not that it matters because health regen is instant so you're either 100% alive or dead anyway). I don't know why if you want to recustomise your weapon you have to click the weapon then move the mouse to an entirely different part of the screen to click the customise button first rather than just having clicking the weapon open up the customise screen. I think there's a glitch when you back out of customisation where the spawn map glitches out unless you press esc again. Also if you go into the options menu and hit esc to back out it puts you in a random place on another options screen rather than backing out to where you just were. Also if you rebind controls some on screen key prompts are wrong and don't work like holding to wait for rez. And that's all off the top of my head. I mean it's not 2042 level ultra bad or BF1/BF5 bad, but it needs work.

As a 32 years old boomer that has played mainly milsim-like games for the past few years, I enjoyed it but I think I've played enough to say that I wont be purchasing the game right of the bat.
TTD is a bit fucked sometimes and I'm not sure about the states of the classes.
Its a bit too easy to laser people, and with assault you can also get a shotgun? And then they are getting mobile spawn points? In the video you'll also see how little I got revived in this game because medic doesnt get any tools to deal with either assault or armor so nobody plays it. And DICE's idea of balance is to open the classes and give everyone the same 1 or 2 meta gun? They should instead tweak the maps so that every class can be relevant in different areas of said maps.

The main problem with the game imo are the maps. Cairo is probably the one that I like the most, but it has problems. Iberia feels like shit to play as you will get shot in the back whenever you move because the spawns are too chaotic and cap points too close from each other, destruction is too scripted and for an urban map there's a lack of meaningful elevation. Why is there only one accessible floor in Cairo and Iberia? Most buildings consist of 1 or 2 rooms at best, so the "urban fighting" is really streets and parking lots. Peak is just half a map with 2 chokepoints and wherever you spawn there is a sniper looking at you.
Tanks feel both weak (because theres little places to hide from them as infantry) and too bulky (because if they werent they'd be destroyed in seconds)

Not a doomer but I although I liked the game this still need improvement before I can consider buying it. I can change my mind if the other maps look better and more open, and if they improve the netcode issues and classe balance, but I can wait for that.

Warzone got to the point it honest to god felt like they were doing some shady shit with footstep audio with how on and off it was. One person could run through the building and up the stairs and you could hear them crystal clear. Next person 60 seconds later and not a single footstep.
This game it's just non-existent. I'll occasionally hear a footstep when I'm laying on the ground bleeding out, but that is the only time. I don't understand how more people aren't bitching about this. Not getting audio cues in a first person shooter would ruin every other game. Not this one I guess. Sure is interesting...

Mobile AA is great at killing everything in the air besides a competent jet player. It shits infinite AA missiles and flares suck. The gun is completely useless though

It's actually kinda crazy how hard people are trying to find fault with 6. Yeah the Beta maps are a little small, fine.

But the game looks fantastic and actually runs excellently. The sound design is incredible. The guns are punchy with weight. Every class is actually fun to play. Vehicles hit hard as fuck (even though the CROWs gunner has horrendous recoil). The new revive/drag system is awesome, playing Medic has never been more fun.

I liked the shooting at first and how sattisfying the sniping sounds and visuals were at first but nothing else, then as I played more I started loving the constant action of the maps. The maps are medium sized and with constant action but its definetly Battlefield action, not cod or mw ground war. Ur squad constantly squiriming around cover trying to survive, medics trying to grab people and rev them, explosions going off constantly, the people on the sides trying to deal with tanks and snipers. This is a tip only for people that usually run their CPU undervolted/wattaged. If you don't know, CPUs use vastly more power than they ever need for most games and applications as modern games barely use ur CPU at all but slave work your GPU to hell. So a good default thing to do is either lower your CPU's power draw or voltage at different values (but just lowering the wattage is usually easier and rissk free) to a sweet spot where you lose literally 0 CPU performance but the fact it doesn't use as much power keeps ur PC/laptop much cooler and allows ur GPU to work more, thus increasing ur performance.

Some games though (funny enough all games on Frostbite usually have this quirk) expect really high wattage from your CPU without seemingly actually using it? So letting your CPU draw a lot of power results in free performance for Battlefield 6 and some other games.

Snipers are easier to use and have the least bullet drop they've ever had, and the recon class itself has 4 fucking rechargable C4s, the beacon, and all the weapons it can equip get insane amounts of ammo. I feel like the only map where I've seen attackers win is Siege of Cairo. If your tank players doesn't have above room temp IQ and also lacks the W key you are not going past the 1st point on Liberation Peak unless your team is SIGNIFICANTLY better on every level than the enemy team. Then the last point is an elevated position where tanks can't go. I've managed to lose a game where my team is miles better than the defenders, and we had both the tanks in the game, and everyone was playing together as squads but still couldn't capture it.
