After an enemy raid I let my Necromancer Lich raise the attackers as undead slaves. Then once I get a quest to attack an outpost I just have all my zombies board a bus from the vehicle mod. Since undead get a bonus for being near a Necromancer, I let the Lich drive the bus and smash it into the middle of the enemy group, then have all the zombies jump off the bus and start meleeing them.

Dynamic AI gen'd portraits. Needs improvement. Right now I run the comfyui script manually and it makes a portrait for every pawn in the save file. I spent like 30 plus minutes going back and forth testing yayo vs VCR.
I used:

>20lvl shooting pawn
>VS
>2 normal pawns wearing good quality marine armor and helmet
>Neither of them were wimps or anything
>Also, I toggled hands/feet protection on in VCR, It's on by default in yayo (or I turned it on a long time ago)

Findings:

>VCR had them take damage sooner, but it could be shrugged off
>Even when downed, they survived until the torso armor was destroyed from gunfire

It has been a consistent theme in all of my colonies. All is well during the early days of the colony, but eventually the mood starts to plummet for no apparent reason and things quickly spiral out of control.
The reason always turns out to be half of my colonists suffering from crippling mood debuffs caused by continuously being rebuffed by that one Beautiful pawn whose charms they just can't resist. Not even them getting married or me isolating them / rearranging everyone's schedules to avoid contact with them would do anything to help.
At this point, I started viewing the Beautiful trait on the same level as Pyromaniac or Gourmand. Am I alone in this? I never came across this kind of discussion in all of my Rimworld readings. Is there an actual good way to utilize this trait and a Pawn's beauty stat?

Lots.
Biotech: Xeno races with traits, you can extract their genes and give the traits to your colonists. Also vampires. And the ability to breed and control your own mechanoids. Biotech is pretty much obligatory for all the features it adds.
Anomaly: Pretty self contained xpack, adds an SCP-like anomaly collection gameplay. If you aren't interested in doing that and don't activate its main quest, then it barely adds anything worthwhile to the game.
Odyssey: Save our Ship 2-like spaceship mobile base, you can visit asteroids and space stations, etc. Also new biomes and unique weapons (masterwork/legendary weapons with additional random traits you can get mostly from quests)

Anomaly is pretty cool for one playthrough, but afterwards it's unfortunately not really worth replaying since you kind of know what to expect. The new music it adds is great, too. For mods I was planning to share I have two that are in eternal WIP.
The first is a Wuxia-ish themed mod similar to RWOM. It's maybe 60-70% done but making visual assets and names/descriptions and bugtesting all that is too time consuming (and way outside my skill set). Also vanilla code is still lacking some things I need so I would have to convert it to a modding framework like EBSG or learn C#.
The other is a tweak mod that lets you control raid frequency and timing per faction based on current raid points.
It's actually done, but there is a big problem.
It adds a lot of custom variables, and if you add too many factions to your game and edit all of their variables it writes too much to the xml extensions config file and breaks something. The only fix is to delete it (which would reset the settings for ALL xml extensions mods) or surgically remove thousands of lines of values in a text editor. So basically, it's garbage and it needs to be rewritten with it's own mod menu or something.
I'm pretty burned out on modding right now so I'm not sure when I will get around to working on them again.

A shuttle works but they have pretty low range, you may need to get closer first on the planet's surface. Bring some extra chemfuel if you need multiple trips.
More importantly make sure all of your dudes have vacuum resistance. Either vacsuit or power armor. I don't think you can put an oxygen generator on a shuttle so you'll want to make a quick trip.

Gravship works too but you need a grav anchor on your base if you don't want it get destroyed on launch.

steel might be fine too. check two things. 1. your colonist's surgery success chance (use the i) and 2. your bed's. if it's something like 95% and 105% then you have a 99.75% success chance (multiply them together) when you use industrial medicine. herbal you multiply by 60% so you'd get around 59% success chance, and glitter meds are x160%. but whatever number you get, remember the cap is 98%.

any mods that make heating/cooling better? mostly looking for wall mounted stuff. I hate having a big ass heater just sitting in the room. think its fine for lower tech stuff but spacer tech should def have wall mounted shit
