Level scaling is gay and nobody likes it, you don't need to make up shit to make it more gay anons. The items scale with a range of -5 to +5 of your level when you loot them depending on the actual level of the zone (So an item in the starter zone will never be above level 10), they don't scale with you as you level and you can only upgrade them after clearing Molten Core with a limited resource you need to earn by playing the game.

As someone who regularly AoE farms on both classes this isn't true. They're different forms of skill. Properly seal/aura twisting is highly volatile and you can quickly go from comfy to almost dead or OOM just because you waited a second too long to swap or Judged the wrong seal.

if you're playing mage or paladin you might as well pick the AOE specs. for frost, that's based on CoC slows and arcane or fire for AOE. for paladin, it's the tanking spec with some optimizations.
