I actually see him as starting with a pool of Blood unlike the other bloodfiends and his skills will cause him to spend the blood to feed the higher kindred (the one with the lowest Scissorblades/hardblood/thorns/bloodied hand) extra stacks directly. When he reaches 0 Blood he gets Casseti's Feral buff and starts consuming bloodfeast for stacks and dealing a bunch of extra damage.

Kind of like how his boss starts with him having a bunch of blood and he loses it as he takes damage.
Also, voiced Murder on the Warp Express is basically the only thing I'm looking forward to right now, simply because I want to experience the "release restraint level 0" moment again,

It's how I use it for Blunt Luxcavation. Though you can always use Overclocked Magical Girl to nuke the enemy in a Manic state, then nuke everyone in the next round as well if the rest of the team is gonna die anyway.

Actually using her non-corroded version in positive sanity is pretty good for building her potency. since she auto spends all charge after the attack. The Corrode then Manic s3 works because the corrosion version retains the charge count for you to reach the S3 negative version AOE conditionals.

So in hindsight I should probably update this to have Ammo Potency/Count and introduce Lei Heng's Tactical reload mechanic into this?
Building off the previous discussion, how do you make a charge ID good?
I mean in this concept it basically exists as a less suicidal stand in for Rabbits getting permanent Haste buffs based off losing HP in Ruina. Then getting count mostly amounts to a timer before going in Feral Mode.
After that it's just using Count as a replacement for ammo whilst otherwise acting like an Ammo ID aka good from turn one but "becomes shit" without the "becomes bad" part.

I really can't think of a way to make a charge ID that doesn't amount to essentially making an ID that ignores charge as a gimmick.

Here's the three things I already suggested before:

At high Charge count, spend all charge count to replace the lowest level skill in the dashboard with a S4.
Ability to convert Charge into Charge variants. Kinda like Clockwinding. Charge Overload: Consumes more Charge per turn, but gain a status buff.
Support units (Remember Superlight Battery from MD? Put it in a EGO, or a support unit that gives it to other units)

For how goofy Roland can act, by all accounts his rampage was genuinely pretty legendary. He personally massacred half of the Middle in the South, which is an incredible achievement as mentioned, and going by flashbacks, comments, and Ricardo's announcer lines quite a lot of those were senior leadership which means they were relatively bigshots. Tanya, who gets hyped up as being incredibly powerful, was literally mindbroken from seeing Roland's rampage, going from the Middle's brotherhood thinking to thinking that the only thing that mattered was individual power. He also ripped through a bunch of other fixer offices and syndicates in his warpath, like that one Thumb cartel, so it wasn't just the Middle getting fucked over.

I personally agree that as far as combat strength goes, Roland is Color level, but there's still vastly different gaps in power even for Colors. But also when talking about Roland, he's kind of weird because some people do vastly overhype him and think he literally wiped out half the Middle (he destroyed half of the Middle in the south which is like 1/8th their total which is still incredibly impressive) while others act like he's some wet behind the ears grade 1 fixer who would job to Kromer or Ahab or someone honestly vastly below his paygrade.

Roland being set upon unsuspecting prey is his combat niche. The gloves and mask combined with his skill set makes him impossible to detect until he is right on top of you. The gloves also cause a breakdown in communication since no alarm will make any noise and enemies can no longer communicate with one another. Then the mask causes an extreme form of astigmatism which lets him dodge shit for free since enemies will swing at where they see him only for him to be a foot to the right instead which gets represented in ruina through the unclashable die slot.
