I think a hard limit on rerolls for augments would be fine. Strictly 1 or 2 rerolls per match and that's it, I feel like it puts it more in line. While I don't mind the ranking system Epic has implement I personally feel like it's put me in "optimization mode" where I'm just going to be landing at places that'll rank me up quicker more often than not and while it's good that there's areas on the map to engage in, you can't make every section of the map something you can engage in.

I think at this point, if Epic wants to keep medallions extremely powerful a flat 10-20% damage vulnterability on holding them should be enough of a weakness. Taking up to 50% extra damage would even it out since you're exchanging powerful abilities for being a glass cannon.

It was impossible to win consistently though since there's a bug where some cars move faster than others (I just thought it was people hacking but the RR account mentioned that being a bug so yeah). Not to mention I've lost solely because of RR being buggy (one bug for example is the race starting and none of your inputs work, then it says you missed a checkpoint and respawns you at the starting line basically giving everyone else a 20 second headstart that makes it impossible to place in anything other than last)

The thing is, they bumble into an actually good movement item and then vault it within a season, and then seemingly never learn from the positive feedback. Most people here will cite the Rocket Ram as one of the most perfectly designed movement weapons in the game, because all of its fantastic upsides are equally measured down and reeled in with notable trade-offs. It can be used offensively or defensively, it covers a good amount of distance, it deals massive damage when landed perfectly, but it's loud as fuck, has a notable launch time, has a sluggish glide period, and anybody who sees you blast into the air will just dome you.

Like in terms of what this game should be chasing for movement items, the Rocket Ram is still the gold standard.

Wrecker is broken and so are the medallions but outside of that I'm enjoying this season more than the others this chapter, Hunters and Lawless weren't fun at all to me, and Super was so garbage I just played Blitz instead. Star Wars season was fun though, unlimited ammo and no bullshit just really straightforward gameplay, it just unfortunately didn't have enough hooks to keep it interesting and still felt dragged out over a month

i thought that being able to quickswap the revolvers since they weren't technically categorized as shotguns (even though they use the ammo type) was a mistake, but since Epic hasn't acknowledged what would potentially be a gamebreaking addition in need of an immediate hotfix, it seems like it's 100% intentional
