I unfortunately agree with this. I played from 2019 to today and while it's still the best place to play vanilla for the time being - it's had too many updates. They should be slowing down, but instead they seem to be speeding up. They're trying to over compensate and it will be the death of them.

What they need to do is work on balancing out their garbage class changes 2 and ironing out all of the custom content they've already added - because a lot of it is pretty rough.

Agreed, some of their monetization decisions have been awful. But that's just the beginning of it. They've prioritized shotgunning out new content as fast as possible, and that could be fine, but a lot of that content is questionable at best. A lot of the custom areas feel like they don't belong there, like they've just been tacked on. The custom deadmines area that's stuck on there like a tumor, for example. I'd happily take a quarter of the content they've got if said content was more seamlessly integrated. Then you have bad decisions like mixing hardcore players in with regular players, making grouping a pain in the ass at times. It goes on. If they'd just slow down and improve what they've got, I think turtle would be a lot more enticing to me.

Things can ruin a server without being "p2w". Go try acquiring Elemental Earth/Air/Water/Fire on Turtle. If you thought it was difficult in real Vanilla, it's literally impossible on Turtle due to the fact that the farmers literally never have to leave the spawns to vendor.
And these are items that Shaman need for their class quests. At least on real Vanilla you can just hangout and get your kills in when the farmer goes to vend.
