The microsecond Cold War came out it was essentially abandoned and now it's permanently stuck with a literally dead game mode grafted to it. It never ran all that well on PS4 at launch but nowadays it takes forever to boot up and get into a match. There's no reason to leave the files in that game except for the cosmetics that were exclusive to it for the people who earned them.

It took them months to add some sandbags to some maps to fix sightlines and spawn issues.
The "content" the game has recieved has been similar to Halo Infinite's, stuff that was largely done, dulled out across 3 years by a skeleton crew while everyone else has been fired or repurposed for the next big thing.
I don't hate 2042. I've had fun in it. But we don't need to be dishonest about it.

They're chaotic urban fighting and it was genuinely fun, and I began to really look forward to conquest on Cairo. Most games are community servers with a bot admin that bans from a curated list of hackers so I would suggest going to community games over matchmaking for normal games. Played a couple hours of V now that the 6 beta is temporarily over. I liked it more than 6. Maps feel nicer, have a nice mix of close combat and really open fields, vehicles are cooler and feel way better, sound design sounds much better too, and kills feel a lot more meaty and satisfying compared to 6.

The only downsides I've seen so far is that each match begins with a stuttery mess, but I think that's a dx12 issue.

When they said they took heavy inspiration from BFBC2 what they meant is they decided to regress mechanics back to the early 2000s and use all the extra computing power on textures and volumetric effects that nobody wants

Sensitivity you just play it by hear. Get in the game, aim at something, decide of a point where you want to aim next, flick to it, see if you overshoot your flick or not, adjust sensitivity accordingly. Rinse and repeat until it feels right.

Do you think guns will have better customization in the full game? Felt like there wasn't any reason not to use the "best" attachments at all times. Besides restricting weapons, how would you improve the class system? I personally don't think medics having LMGs makes any sense at all.
