It depends on what you're trying to build. Golshi for example doesn't really need stam sparks, she wants speed sparks in stead because you shouldn't be training speed as much on her as other stats. Bakushin O doesn't want stam sparks at all if you only care about completing the campaign to get sparks. I also feel running speed sparks early makes it easier to get high enough stats on the other stats to try and roll sparks on those.
But in the end you really want a few 9* of speed and stam regardless. Speed just might help you more in the early game as it'll be easier to grind A-rank umas.

Picrel, bottom part. If you run a single strong SR wit card like Marvelous Sunday, Daiwa or Agnes you'll regain more stamina running wit and you should run wit relatively often. The math is complicated but when you have rainbow training, having 2+ rainbows at once SIGNIFICANTLY increases the result because the bonus %'s are multiplied with each other.

After testing this out in 15 rooms and it only losing 3 times I can safely say that GoldShip is the best ace for the CM since I never saw any end closer debuff except for mine. Go with the flow is a lot better than her gold navigation skills as well.

It depends. A lot of support cards give stats based on races and races give skill points which you never get enough by running race goals. Basically if you have a pimped out deck which maxes speed and stamina for the distance it's better to just run races to unlock good skills for which you've designed your parents/deck around. Of course you always need a certain level of fandom to level up your ultimate and to get better sparks but if you lack stamina or speed it might be better to just level up those or to take a rest in order to catch a rainbow next turn.

Basically racing is about optimising already optimised umas. Pic rel is straight up skill inheritance for a front runner, I need a lot of skillpoints just for these skills + golden recovery stuff

I also prefer running optionals in Classic year, mostly because a lot of umas do their big G1 career races in Senior year anyway. It's better to run those G1s in Classic too rather than doing a bunch of G3-G2s in Senior because you don't have any good races left.

Her base kit includes a 6% stamina debuff, which is enough to kill Swinging Maestro.
But, the issue is also that most people will have 2 gold recoveries. To kill a second gold recovery, you'd need 5 Stamina debuffs.
But the fucked up bit is that those debuffs are split between Pace chasers, Late surgers, and Front Runners. There is NO way to completely nullify a second gold skill
