it's a global pacing issue

The problem isn't that every monster isn't endgame the problem is that the main game is so pathetically easy that we don't get to appreciate like 3/4th of the monsters in the game. Those complaints wouldn't be there if the game switched out of baby mode before the story was over, as it is right now most of the game's content is genuinely worthless if you're not mentally playing Wilds as your first game.
It wasn't like that at all for gen 1-3 but ever since guild quests destroyed most people's perception of 4U Crapcom has progressively brought the "the real game is the endgame" meme into reality. I went to do Tempered Rey Dau for artian shit and a gem and wow, it is piss compared to AT Rey Dau

A lot of players just don't realize this because it's been months since they fought them and when they did, the monster was on the ground half the time.

there's a table for each weapon type and a separate table for pure raw and a combined one for ele/status
also the R6, R7, and R8 tables are separate
so there's like 84 tables technically

if you use 3 components of different ele/status types you get a pure raw
if you use at least 2 of one ele/status type then the result will be that type regardless of the third
pure raw is trash because it doesn't have more raw than the ele/status

the Attack vs Affinity Infusion type of the materials doesn't affect the tables at all

So to advance the table, you need to craft more artians
there's a couple of strats to save a little zeny (other anons can chime in if they want) but the easiest for me has been to just advance the table one at a time

I mentioned that the Attack vs Affinity doesn't matter and there's a ton of armor skills that give Affinity already so most people treat the Affinity artian parts as trash

Let's say you ultimately want a Para GS with 5xAtk+1xSharp reinforcements
Use anything but Attack Para parts to craft an R8 GS
Just remember you need to use at least 2 of a type so 2xFire+1xIce will give you Fire
Then you reinforce it to Max and check what bonuses you get. If they're trash, dismantle the weapon and try again

basically
1) Save your game
2) Craft a "throwaway" artian
3) Reinforce it
4a) If it's trash, dismantle and restart at 1

4b) If the bonuses are good, DO NOT SAVE and reload your game
5) Craft the actual weapon you want
6) Reinforce it and it'll have the same bonuses as the last one you crafted/reinforced right before

I didn't have any of this typed out and checked beforehand so hopefully it all makes sense

the picture is status-flavored raw but element-flavored raw does more damage depending on matchup (with the tradeoff that you have to make and get lucky for each element)

there's a full element water >build in the guide if you care about fighting gravios and g.ebony odo

basically use up all your 3xAffinity sleep then poison, then idk dragon, etc.
once you get low, use like 2xPoison + 1xSleep or something
when you run out Affinity parts you can use the Attack parts for elements/statuses you don't care about so 3xAttack Poison
or you can mix Attack and Affinity of Poison as you go, idk
