I was going to write a lengthy post about how dishonest his criticism was as I also hate this game, but the more I think about it and saw how much of the game he actually tried the more I'm willing to hear his incessant whinging out. The only thing dishonest is that he went in already hating the game because he hates the idea of gacha. He's also clearly the type of video essay fag that doesn't actually like anything and complains for the sake of complaining. I was going to say he didn't give the game an honest go but he clearly actually sat through legendary gauntlet. And genuinely you can see how terrible and unappealing starting the game is. He's right about the extremely basic story events, unrewarding gameplay, awful banners, time wasting busywork, all the stupid currencies, etc. I just don't necessarily agree that the game is bad because all gacha is slop and bad.

It doesn't help that this is genuinely probably the worst possible showcase month for this game. Anyone would be left with an awful first impression or scared away.

Well the 1st team uses sleep to buy time and the 2nd team has Gladion, plus both teams have triple Sprint effects to play very fast. It's not the only instance of no dedicated tank either for floor 30. Fire 30 was won with Arc Leon, NC Leaf, and V Ethan for instance, and that even lacked EX field that the Fairy ones relied on.

Most are N 5 or higher. I see one 10/5 Silver team but it's with 10/5 Grusha and variety Hilbert. It's a completely absurd clear though with skin of teeth evasion cheese that barely looks repeatable. Fuck whoever decided to put both Academy and Legendary Gauntlet on same month with reduced gauntlet time schedule too, had to stop around 160 with the last 20 teams being half assed rushed steamroller team combos and still had several paralysis pairs, around 40 good supports and several powerhouse cheese units that just needed solos or duos, likely enough to go for 220 or 230 streak, when it was three weeks of gauntlet it was better. It's clearly not a mode that can be done in a week or few days like HSE or Super Sparring as it is very time consuming, this way it's even less enjoyable as a mode since it becomes a job with a shorter deadline.

I love event reruns where I have both units.

He's solid. Served me well over the years and is currently my only superawakened unit (and I'm saying he was solid well before that). He's also the only Dragon Support at present that has done a successful run of Dragon tower Floor 30. We may get better Dragon Supports in the future, but I would vouch for him if you're interested in him. His SpDef debuffing is awesome and he gets to focus on it asap because of how condensed his team buffs are.
